Kami Naman (It’s our turn)

Remember when you were a kid and you only see nuns, priests and seminarians in the premises of orphanages, cloisters and churches? Now time has changed and even priests, religious and formandees are out on the net to proclaim God’s Word. Men and women in cassocks and habits (or formerly in habits) are already taking their journey online. You will be surprised how many of us are already here to journey with you guys. Yet, regardless of personal flaws and differences, the fact still remains that in our lifetime, we served the one up there who we refer to as our personal God and has called us (in many ways) to his service. Soon the men in the habits and formerly in the habits will rise out of the bowels of the cyberspace and will boldly proclaim what they are truly made of. One by one we will show ourselves and help make a difference in the world wide web. Watch out for it, coming SOON… (This project is the brainchild of Fr. Stephen Cuyos and in collaboration with OTWOMD and the others…) Huh? sinong others? Abangan…

Probably only in DA Philippines… nuns, priests and seminarians are a rare sight in Europe nowadays… in cyberspace and in the real world.

that’s true. Vocations in Europe are steadily declining that is why we are launching this project. I heard many seminaries were closed there due to lack of candidates. But there are many nuns priests who are blogging and created their own sites, not only Filipinos but on the whole world. Actually we have a directory on them but the site master told me he is having a hard time updating the list because everyday more and more religious online are applying for the directory. Sigh I hope many will be called soon…

Bluep, magandang development yan. Tutal everyone (bata man o matanda) ay laging nasa Internet. The best way to get to people is to do what they do.

I hope all goes well with this project. Good luck!
