Who would have thought that an air ambulance exist?

One of the best branches of Nursing service is the Emergency Nursing wherein the action is always present, the race between life and death is always critical and time management care are often challenging. This is one of my dreams, to become the best of the best when it comes to Emergency Nursing. I have been assigned in the Operating Room, Delivery Room and the Ward, but the experience in Emergency Nursing is different since you are the front liner in every case that comes in and out of the hospital. Branches of emergency nursing also include the Paramedics and the Military Medics. I always dream of joining the US air force medical team someday because I want to experience rappelling from a helicopter in the middle of a war zone while rescuing every injured soldier in the battlefield and air lifting them to safety. Before, Emergency Air Nursing only exists in war situations and disaster relief. But how would you react if one day, calling 911 for an ambulance, a jet plane will land on your front lawn and take the patient to the hospital? Yeah I know it is crazy, but it exists.

Do you know that there is an existing air ambulance in Emergency Air Nursing? I have been a nurse for years and I have never heard such crazy idea. But it’s true, it exists. Googling through the net, I saw this site that actually fly patients on the air to hospitals and to anywhere in the world may it be domestic or international flights. The Air Ambulance company uses the Lear Jet Aircrafts 55, 36, 35, and 25, Turbo Props and Twin engine planes, which are all FAA, approved and licensed. The interior of Air Ambulance is not different from your ordinary ambulance. They have paramedics and nurses on board with medical equipments that are found on most ICU set-ups in hospitals. The air ambulance service also covers basic life support to critical care including cases of Stroke, Fragile Patients, Transplant Patients, Cancer Patients among many others. So if you feel you want to be carried on an air ambulance to any hospitals around the world, you can call them any time of the day and can take you as far as New York, Mexico, Hawaii, Florida, Texas and Arizona. So have you learned something today? Now we know that air ambulance really exists.
