I won the IPOD Shuffle contest

I just arrived yesterday from a 3 day trip in the Rizal Province. I accompanied my aunt from Chicago in visiting my cousins there. It’s been 22 years since I last been there and seing the town once again brings back so many fond memories when we were kids. Anyhow that was a different story. On the way home at 7pm, I received a text message from Malen telling me that I won an IPOD. At first i did not made a big deal out of it because I thought Malen was just teasing me and the fact that I always verify first and see it for myself before I ride on with my emotions just like in many cases in the past. So upon arriving in my very dear home even if I was so dead tired that my eyes were half shut already and my head consistently pecking like a woodpecker’s beak, I still managed to watch the very long video presentation of ProGobbler.Net. But lo and behold, Malen was right. My Name was indeed announced as the first winner of the ipod shuffle contest.
Though I told myself before that I wasn’t lucky in raffle games (that’s why I’m so lazy in joining such contest), yet I applied the power of positive thinking which I just learned from a book. During the trip I always tell myself whenever I remember that there is a raffle that will be drawn, I recite this mantra; I will win, I will win, I will win. and so I did. And thanks be to ProGobbler, I gained confidence in joining such contests. That contest also made me realize the importance of positive thinking and hoping. So until next time uli.
