When taking a friend to a DRUG REHAB FACILITY

I have a friend who called up last night saying he was not sure if he is really into it. Actually, I was talking to him for days now, convincing him to remove from his system the drugs that enslaved him for so long. He started using it when we were still in College. His loved ones do not deserve this kind of headache from him, and so is he. I convinced him to try entering into rehab because the more he prolongs his addiction, the worst he will become. To rate him from one to ten in his addiction, I think he is in seven. I do not want to see his family suffer with him just because of an empty pleasure that demands so much from his personal life and his financial stability. So today, before his addictive symptoms kicks again, his family and I took him to a Drug Rehab center called “The Canyon” where he could use some help.

Arriving at The Canyon, a receptionist welcomed us and introduced us to the facility. She said the canyon is a perfect center for healing of recurring conditions like Alcohol and Drug Addiction. I was surprised that the place was not only for Drug Rehabilitation purposes but serves as an Alcohol rehab as well. We asked the receptionist about the programs that they can offer to our friend and she told us that the facility has many programs that can heal body, mind and spirit. Their programs like Equine Therapy, Sweat lodge Ceremony, and Adventure Therapy serves as a powerful tool and catalyst of change in one’s life.

Then I inquired about the food that they would serve our friend because I believe that in order to bend the will, one needs to feed the body. The receptionist smiled and she said that they have their own chefs in the Canyon. They only use foods and ingredients that are organic, safe, fresh and pesticide free which are locally produced in the area. Actually, I was the one who was impressed by the Drug Rehab. It is more like a hotel than a such. My friend was observing quietly. I know him, with that attitude of submission and quiet observation, I know that he is very interested.

Then the receptionist toured us around and saw this breath taking scenery. Some of the shots of Rehab are below:

So right there and then, my friend voluntarily committed himself to the program because he believed that it is for his own good. We said our brief goodbyes and parted ways and will soon see him after a couple of months renewed and strengthened with vigor and enthusiasm for living.
