Backgammon game to set a new Guinness world record

The Backgammon game will set a new Guinness world records as the “farthest backgammon dice toss” initiated by the Backgammon Masters online game operators. This world record-breaking event was conceived for the purpose of promoting their online backgammon tournament in www.backgammonmasters.com held every Tuesday and Friday of the week.

The Backgammon Masters online game operators will hold the largest Backgammon game that the world has ever seen. The huge event will consist of a 1-acre field that will serve as the backgammon board, a huge dice and 3 feet in diameter giant checkers.

The idea is to toss the dice anywhere in the 1-acre backgammon board out of the helicopter, 200-300 feet above the ground by two well known backgammon champions who will play a full match on the acre-size backgammon board field. The dice is made of custom inflatable material that will prevent damage and cushion its impact when it falls on the ground from the helicopter. Valuing at 1,000 euros, the winner will take home the dice as his prize. Staff members will move the checkers, which are 3-feet in diameter, and communication during the event will be made possible using walkie-talkies.

The backgammon tournament organizers have been consulting Quentin Smith, famous pilot and traveler who toured the world crossing desserts and arctic territories. Smith is consulted for his expertise regarding the event’s location, regulations and helicopter safety. Guinness book of world records will witness this record-breaking event and proceeds of funds that will be collected in the tournament will go to charity.
