All aboard mate!

10

I am always fascinated by the wonders of modern engineering. During my precious time as a couch potato, I always watch National Geographic and Discovery channel documentaries featuring some of the most popular engineering wonders of the world. From the power burrowing of the European subways to the erection of the great Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, man continues to do the impossible and make former ideas turn into realities. But one of the few questions that actually lingered on my mind was about ships and boats. After seeing the documentary in National Geographic on how Yachts are made, I began to wonder on how they were able to transport these behemoth ships by land.

The answer came from a company called Marine Travelift. Marine Travelift is the world’s famous supplier and producers of Boat Lift System equipments used for boat handling. They are renowned worldwide as the experts for these kinds of services. Incredibly amazed on how they are able to pull it off, I was even impressed to discover that they also provide boat hoist, self-propelled transporters and marine forklifts at every marina in the world. Their forklifts also comes very handy in any type of boat lifting and handling situation.

One of the many achievements of this 40 year old company includes providing equipments to teams competing in one of the world’s prestigious sailing regatta in history: the America’s Cup race which recently featured the company’s equipments in that same racing event in Spain.

Below are some of the photos of Marine Travelift in action. Be mesmerized on how they are able to provide quality and satisfying service to their clients.
