Who said that Filipinos are already tired of People Power? Even the blockade of the evil empire at the NLEX, SLEX and even at the Makati airspace did not stopped throngs of people from going to the interfaith rally: Businessmen, politicians, students, professors, corporate employees, civil societies, women,vendors, yuppies, seminarians, nuns, priests, religious denominations, moslems, uzizeros, uzizeras, you name it, they got it. The biggest number so far since the pseudo-enthronement of Darth Nunal. Most of the people who joined were clusters from the Youth sector and various students from different universities and colleges. They paraded at the Ayala avenue festively and joyously. This is the kind of rally that initiated the People Power II last 2001. If you will notice the pattern, People power were not an overnight success. It was a gradual build up of disappointments from the government that soon became an explosive expression of anger. The festive move of the people in the interfaith rally was the same mood that we saw at the 2001 revolt. Up to this time, Malacanang still haven’t revoked the EO 464 which was asked by the CBCP on their statement. But PDI claimed that there is a dirty tactic brewing. The Empire is creating another EO to hinder the any furnishing of NEDA documents. This will somehow create another force field once the EO 464 has been lifted. I don’t know about the Sith of Malacanang, but I think they are creating more reasons to fuel the fire of the people than extinguish them. Ito ang PINOY STAR WARS pag nagkataon!

wala ate melai. lam mo naman style ko di ako mahilig sa rally. taga monitor lang ako ng mga nagaganap then sa blog ako nagrarally ng akin.
pero nakasama ako once nung 2001 people power sa EDSA shrine when i was in the seminary. festive ang mood ng mga tao talaga kasi nung naglalakad kami mula shaw blvd hanggang ortigas, bumubusina sa amin mga kotse. yung nasa MRT na nakapila sa taas naghiyawan sa amin then yung iba sumama sa likod namin.
30 lang ata kami nun kasama mga seminarians at pari sa amin, naka black bands kami lahat then may malaking banner kamikasing lawak ng kalye na itim.
nakunan pa kami sa balita noon. haha.
pagdating namin sa shrine ang daming tao. nasa ilalim kami ng flyover going to greenhills. yung mga tinapay nagbabagsakan galing sa taas. tapos mga fishball libre. grabe bumabaha ng pagkain talaga noon. di ka magugutom. every one was smiling and very kind. damang dama mo ang hospitality ng mga pinoy.
nung dumating si miriam at si gema cruz araneta, saka nagriot tao. pinagmumura si miriam. naawa talaga ako ke miriam nun. then after 4months during the edsa riot in may, aba si Miriam gigil na gigil kay GMA haha. ang politiko nga naman.
that was really an experience. nung makita ko yung report dun sa rally ngayon, the same mood nung time ng EDSA 2

nyeta! excited pa naman akong makita ang results ako palang pala ang bumoboto. hahaha.
and yep, for all you care. para silang gremlins, dadami pa yan nang dadami. pero por dios por santo, sana naman after this revolve e walang nang empire strikes back kind of sequel. at kung si noli boy man ang papalit after ousting the evil darth yoda aunor e magpakatino naman sya at nang matahimik na tayong lahat.
