Meet My Beloved Son

Since I started reviewing for the exam, I missed a lot including this very special event in the last days of 2007. I said to myself I won’t go to this special day since my exam result has not yet been released. I have no proof of showing my hard work. I really don’t want to be involved but I have to. So there, for honesty’s sake and for the child, I am revealing to you now the proudest moment of my last days of 2007. The Scandal that will rock this year.

Of course you do realize that I was just kidding right? My Family will disinherit me if I ever fathered a child out of wedlock lol
These are the real parents of my Inaanak (Godchild) who was baptized last December 30, 2007, feast of the Holy Family. Chrisel and Frederick were my Barkada (clique) in High school and they were insane enough to ask me to be the Godfather of their son. I really wish I have one. Hinihingi ko nga ayaw ibigay sa akin yung bata.

There I am at the farthest end of the table, well tanned and all. I just got out of the beach. Kidding aside, I was late in the baptismal rites. I was busy looking for a gift in SM when I realized I was not sure if the baby was a girl or a boy. So I just went to the church instead. When I got there, the cars were already going out of the patio (parking area). Buti na lang nakita ako ni Mamert, and I hitched towards the reception.

Pulling down what we ate, we had a little chat outside after the gobble. My High School kumpadres: Vlady, Ding-Dong, Gerlon and Toto. Vlady is currently working in the Government and is starting his own Money Lending business. Ding-Dong, a License Civil Engineer from Mapua has his own Amo and Guns business and is managing a shooting range (?). He is also preparing for an NCLEX exam after he passed the Local Nursing Licensure last year. Gerlon is a true blue Atenean Full Scholar who now works in Philhealth. And Toto is the son of one of the Mayors here in our province who graduated from San Beda and is now managing their Pharmacy chain.

These are the good times. My High School Barkadas with their wifies, These is what I really hate in mini reunions. I am the only one who have no wife and kids. I really envy them. Lasing na ang mokong haha. I think we had 2 Fundador Exclusivo and 3 Carlos Uno that afternoon. Opo ganyan po kami kagahaman sa alak hehe.

The Father of the child, Pareng Peter (Peh-ter) with Pareng Cedie who was also late for the Christening. Mga ninong talaga pasaway! Di na nagbago haha.
I was already drunk here hehe. Sira-ulo mga loko na to. I didn’t know that they took this shot. I was begging them so that I can get home already because it was already midnight, but these goof balls insisted that I stay for a few more beers. What the heck, I didn’t have any alcohol for 3 months, I think I deserve this, may occasion naman. Tatlong buwan ako nagtiis na di na-mamam, kaya ayan po ang resulta hehe. Lasheng si bluepanjeet. (Parental Guidance haha). I think we were drinking for 12 hours straight. No wonder I have 3 pieces of neurons left in my brain LOL. Ganito po ang socialization dito sa amin kaya wag na wag nyo kaming yayayain (invite to drink) mga taga Quezon at siguradong mapapalaban kayo haha. I went home, still having the consciousness to watch a DVD later that night.
My new Inaanak, Mark Adrian Glorioso. Today’s feast day, Baptism of our Lord, tells us that the Father’s only son was formally introduced to the world, so that others, like Baby Adrian, will be baptized in the Name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. Remember that in every baptism we attend to, God is always reminding us of his own beloved son: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (Mark 3:17).

Would you beleive that a single shot of liquor in a shot glass needs 3 full glasses of water to flush out the toxins from your body. eh 3 galong alak ata inubos namin, imagine the amount of water my body needs to flush out the toxins.
