The feeling is amazing. I don’t know how to start this post. There are many things to thank for. But let me first express my gratitude to the ONE above for giving me these blessings that I never expected of having. It is actually the motivation and inspiration of people around me that keeps me going on my blogging habit even though most of the times, it gets in the way of my life in the real world.

 

 

I’m a shallow person. When it comes to happiness,I’m not that difficult to be happy. Though at times I have my own corner when things go wrong and soak myself in tears when life seems complicated, yet tiny, insignificant things makes me happy. I cherish these ordinary events in my life and make them extraordinary (at least that is what Therese of Liseux said). These simple things in life makes me grounded and render to God the thanksgiving he duly deserve. Learning to be contented and thankful for little things is the secret formula for being happy and young (at least at heart hehe) Anyhow, let me start this very fluid post with a simple thank you.

This is very special indeed since Eagles (and tigers) are very significant for me and because they are my favorite pets (if given the chance by WWF LOL). They are my psychological alter ego in the animal world (according to my priest-slash-psychology mentor). Grazie to Lizzz for giving me this NICE MATTERS AWARD. I would never found that I have an award had it not been for Malen who told me that I have such. Actually I don’t know what the award is for. I was thinking maybe because I’m nice to everyone haha (except for Malen and some snobs out there hehe). I always mistook Lizzy for Ruthie, I don’t know why, maybe because their names rhyme or maybe because they are both kind and beautiful (haha penge piso!). Kidding aside, I heart lizzy for giving me this. It’s another inspiration indeed to blog and blog without any compensation or remuneration from paypal, google ads and TLA. To blog for passion is such a wonderful outpouring of free expression. I tell you Lizzz, it’s More than a feeling!

Thank you for being my inspirations. I seldom say this but you are few of the guys out there who give me the push to go on with my journey here. If only I have ample time and the courage for an instant EB, I would gladly invite you anywhere there in Manila for a few bottles of beer to show you my gratitude. It’s More than a feeling!

Arigato to Mr. Chuckie Dreyfus of A day in the Life for featuring me in Wordpress Pinoys as a BLOGGER OF THE WEEK. It was really a surprise because I never expected to be featured there. I only joined the group I think last September where I met the nicest and most supportive bloggers on the net. This honor Mr. Dreyfus will etch on OTWOMD™’s history as its first ever. OTWOMD™ have not been featured before, so it is very flattering indeed, considering that the contents of my blog are far less worthy compared to almost two hundred bloggers in WPP. Then again, I bow my head in humility for this wonderful gift that you bestowed on my blog. You do not know how gratuitous I am. As I always say to my fellow WPPs, “I’m so proud to be a “Jologs Blogger!”. This is the first time that my blog felt so at home in a group (another story). I wish I could express the exact words that I’m having difficulty of expressing right now, but it’s really More than a feeling!

Salamat to Reyna Elena.com (BTW, Welcome back to the Philippines) for pushing me to the edge of my potentials. He awarded to me the Grand Prize for the OFW LOGO & SLOGAN DESIGN COMPETITION after such a tough and transparent decision. Actually, my bet is not my own work but the one with the Carabao for the Logo and the Okay Fine for the Slogan. I never expected to win since I totally forgot about the contest had it not been for Ambo who was the first one to tell me the news. I also want to thank my fellow competitors who also did a great job on their respective logos, to the Readers of Reyna Elena.com for providing such objective scrutiny to the entries (except for Janet haha.. I Love You Janet!) and for those who explicitly voted for my entry which needs a special mention: Ms. Toni, Pareng Cesar OFMCap, Pareng Sinaglaya, Pareng Felmar SVD, Pareng Ambo and Pareng KK and to all those who voted without me knowing it. Wow, More than a feeling!

And last but not the least I am very thankful for this special vote of my sister (including my family and relatives) in the US. She seldom read my blog nor she leave any comments here, but she was able to leave a very inspiring comment on Reynz’ blog. I laughed when I read her comment because obviously she’s not really used to comment or read blogs. evidently, she wrote “anonymous” in signing in while she left her name below haha. This for me is already a prize if however I did not win the competition (kitam ang babaw ko haha). Sis, this is More than a feeling!

Up to now I’m still speechless (pa daw ha!), there are so many words I want to say but with so little brain that I have no way of satisfying the sudden rush of wisdom. It is actually More than a feeling!

I know I haven’t been blog hopping lately because I am actually fitting everything to my limited schedule because of my Review. If not for all of you, my blog would cease to exist.

And because of this I would like to invite you to a special event of OTWOMD™. This blog will celebrate its 100th post since its conception two years ago in Friendster Blog. I want to celebrate it in joyful exaltation of the human spirit of triumph, simply because, OTWOMD™’s main theme is to acknowledge the human psyche and being in the shadow of the almighty God. and with this celebration, I would like to formally invite you all to a special blog treat: I have no money or resources to give as prizes and gifts for the 100th post (PAL and bum actually) but what I will give you is myself and the joy and celebration of the human spirit expressed here in the 100 blog post of OTWOMD™ starting from day 1 of those blessed two years.

On November 4 @ sunrise, I will post my 100th. In that specific post, you will finally see the man behind the blog. It is actually my two 10 seconds cameo appearance in full motion in the music video I prepared for this occasion so do not miss it. This is the best time to burst the bubble of those who perceived me as someone who is larger than life, which in all honesty, I am not. I am just an ordinary human being like you. So in celebration of our human existence (including mine), for the first time I will expose my true identity in the blogosphere taking all the risk of being screen captured and distorted again… Being human is actually acknowledging ups and downs of life, warts and all. BTW, I wouldn’t be surprised if after seeing the video you will immediately drop my blog from your blog roll hahaha… I tell you watch out for it.. promise.. “Mapapatalon” kayo sa shock hahaha (You’ll jump out of shock!)
