Okay I am back again here in the blogosphere and have so many things to tell all of you about what I was up to while I was gone. But before anything else, I would like first to apologize to Kapatid Jeff, Elmo, Sasha, Ronnie and Dom for not being able to attend their meet-up. My schedule did not permit me because of my review. Though I really wanted to go and meet these guys but my current situation prevents me from traveling around the four corners of Luzon (plus the fact that I’m a bit shy in person so it somehow adds gravity to the resistance). I also would like to extend my condolences to Dom and his family. My Prayers are with you bro. and to all the bereaved.
So what’s new about this blog? Well as you can see, I am so proud to have my own domain name, which I already purchased. Now my blog would not anymore sound like a porn site nor would Akismet eat my comments on others’ blogs. Before this, I used to register on different free sub-domain registry just to cloak my porn-site sounding URL. But now, I can brag (you know I wont) my new domain name. It has my pen name in it. Let me write it down here even though it is pretty much obvious on your address bar: it’s bluepanjeet.net. haha I love the sound of it! Now please my friends, update your linkies and blogrolls for bluepanjeet.net is really here to stay.So before I go nuts here and lose my sanity, let me just take this opportunity to thank the guys in my new webhost PagePH especially to Jonathan L. and Cathy G. They have a wonderful and prompt (as in bullet fast) customer service-slash-support staff that a blogger could ask for. They beat the lightning out of me in every inquiry that I throw at them. What’s good with my new server? They are the only domain and web hosting site I know (sorry for my ignorance if there are others out there) that accepts payment in peso. It is very convenient for us living here in the Philippines to transact with the server because of this kind of service. Plus, their price is so low that it doesn’t compromise the service of the server. BTW, this is not a sponsored post. I’m just giving my server a good PR here so that I can somehow repay them for their kindness to me and to my blog. So if you are having problems with your servers, switch now to PagePH. Astig maging Pinoy (huh, It sounds like a commercial).Lastly, in case you ask, my old server Freehostia only gives 10 mb of free MySQL bandwidth, which is somewhat too small for a heavy blogger like me. It almost deleted my entire blog into oblivion when I carelessly reached the server’s quota. Considering also that Freehostia has so many downtime sessions that even during non-peak hours, they still render my site inaccessible. I guess I got tired of waiting for hours while my page is stuck on the “time-out” advisory every time I edit my blog. Well thanks for the 5-month experience it was somehow swell. I had a great time with freehostia even though my comments are always eaten up by Akismet due to my URL. Thank God, I do not have to deal with that kind of problem anymore.Guys the blogroll will be coming soon so don’t fret about the links… I’ll be more than willing to give you all the link love you’ll need. I’ll visit your sites as often as I can until I finish this NCLEX exam.Whew. It is good to be back again. My brains are already getting rusty each passing day without blogging. So stay put and bear with me because there are lots of interesting stuff coming out from the bowels of OTWOMD™ including a post about those dark creatures that always drag us away from the light whenever we are into doing good… yep… I’m talking about those creatures with big horns, burnt smell and long pointed tails.. you’ll soon figure out what I’m talking about promise. Hats off to DYU, Russ and Ronnie who found my site when I’m actually hiding it from them (well you know, I want to surprise everyone). and also to Sashing and Rino who sent me a couple of nice email messages during my absence in the blogosphere. And most especially to Malu Fernandez who did one good hell of a job of voluntarily isolating herself from the human species through her very discriminating, imprudent, rude and stupid article which made all OFW’s and Bloggers’ blood boil! (better late than never. Worth the shot eh?). I say Boycott Both Manila Standard and People Asia. Period.
