Pinoy Famous Lines (part 2 of 4)
By bluepanjeet on Apr 15, 2007 in *Part Of A Series

After reading the email sent to me, the laughing was stuck in my head. I was imagining what it would be like if some of the people and things we see in our everyday life could talk. Like if Madonna would become a thing, she would be a test paper and her famous line would be “hey man, check me out!”. Or if Michael Jackson is a thing, he would definitely be a new painted wall treatment and his line would be “touch me, touch me not”. Now the first part of my famous line series was a forwarded message and whoever made that joke was definitely funny. So as a trying hard humorist, I created my own set of famous lines based on the Pinoy everyday language. I don’t know if its funny to you, but I definitely had a good laugh while I was writing it. Again I included English translation of the jokes. I’m not sure if it would make an appeal to the international readers nor would my english translation be accurate to that of the Pinoy parallel because some of the jokes are written with Filipino idioms and expressions, and I think some of our Pinoy grammatical formulas have no literal and figurative equivalent in English. Again just a tip: some pictures are graphical and some jokes have double meanings, so I suggest that if you are very conservative or not that open to jokes, don’t read it. but to those who are hunting for humor, well this might cheer you up
