Aug 18, 2011 – While all of the Pilgrims are preoccupied with their respective Catechetical events and conferences all over Madrid during the morning of Day 3 of World Youth Day, Pope Benedict XVI was at that time literally up in the air aboard the plane of Alitalia en route to Madrid. The Pope answers questions from Journalist who came with the Pope from Rome and were journeying with him to Madrid. Every time the Pope travels, throngs of press entourage accompany him. Usually the press conference is held inside the plane while it is in flight. You can Imagine how tired Pope Benedict XVI must have been when he arrived in Madrid. He bare gets sleep, meeting people, signing this and that, saying speeches, and attending to audiences. Being a Pope is not an easy Job. Contrary to the Pope, other heads of states, such as the President of the United States have the luxury to spend a few weekends vacationing. But the Pope doesn’t have the time even to walk leisurely. Even his daily walk is counted and time. This press conference at mid-flight is just a foretatse of the busy schedule that our Pope faced during his visit to Madrid.
