Last WYD 2008 in Sydney, it was the nuns from different religious order who invaded Sydney as a week before the event. This week, nuns again were the first to invade Madrid not only with their prayer, their smiling faces, their friendly charm but also with their immaculate auras. Everywhere you turn  your head there are nuns. These nuns have different missions while attending the World Youth Day 2011. Aside from promoting their religious orders among young people, they also serve as volunteers, mostly in the kitchen, in liturgical services, in distributing food, in prayer power and mostly to protect the whole event with their respectable presence. You can’t deny that these nuns serves as a buffer or a force field against delinquents who want to sow chaos among the youth. The habits they wear not only attract those who have vocation but also an armor against evil. You cant denuy the fact that you always feel safe whenever there are nuns around. They are the Catholic Church’s amazons.
