It shocked me. It shocked you. It shocked the whole world. One of the world’s most peaceful country was attacked by a 32 year old, right-wing Christian terrorist named Anders Behring Breivik in his attempt to tell Europe that Muslims are not welcome in the west and should be annihilated. Unfortunately, in irony of all ironies, the victims were not moslems but innocent Christians, regardless of religion, should this crackpot be justified? According to Police, the bomber of 8 and shooter of 68 young teenagers and children, bombed first downtown Oslo near the Labor Party headquarters, then proceeded to Utoya Holiday island, some 40 km from Oslo where the suspect, dressed as a policeman rode a ferry going to the island without any clear plan on how to execute his mayhem. Until he spoke to one of the Youth Camp organizers in the ferry and told him that a group of young people are having a labor party camp there. That’s where he got the idea. Landing on the island dressed as a policeman, he then proceeded to the camp, called all the children and gathered them around him. First he showed his bag what seems to contain various explosives and told the children that he will blow up the island. The children even laughed and thought the suspect was just kidding. Until he began to shoot randomly, spraying bullets in every direction and killing some teens instantly. The young people spread out to the woods, to the shore and even to the waters to escape the madman still firing bullets. Some teenagers pretended to be dead just to survive unfortunately according to a survivor, the suspect when back and shot them on the head to make sure they were dead. Others ended up on the islands shore lifeless. A vacationing man on his speedboat rescued the children after they alerted him on the shore. A total of 68 young Norwegians died on the Massacre while 8 died on the bombing.

OTWOMD is one with the world and with the Pope in prayer for the repose of the souls of the departed victims. May the Lord bring them Justice and Mercy.
