Hours before the Beatification of Pope John Paul II, OTWOMD decided to assist online users and Catholic Netizens who want to watch the Beatification ceremony but without access to television. Various website have already announced that they would have online streaming on their website. This is because of the increased demand of the faithful to witness the Vatican raise one of the most popular and the fastest beatification process in History. OTWOMD was originally planning to stream the ceremony live on our own servers but decided to back out since the service this past few days has been inconsistent so we will just assist online users by directing them to websites that have much capability to host an online streaming. The Beatification would start at 10 am Rome Time. If you are in Sydney and Melbourne the ceremony with start at 6pm. If you are in Hongkong, Taiwan, Manila, Malaysia and Singapore, the coverage would be at 4pm in the afternoon. If you are in the USA east coast, coverage will start at 4 am while in the west coast it would be 2 am in the morning. The following website would cover the beatification online:
Youtube.com – It was announced that the official Vatican Channel in Youtube would stream online the ceremony
EWTN.com – EWTN has a live coverage of the event on TV yet online users can access their program on their official website under the “television” tab and select “Live TV english” then select bandwidth compatible with your ISP..
XT3.com – Australia’s XT3.com, the catholic social network that was established during the WYD 2008 will also offer online streaming of the event. Just log in to XT3.com and access the live streaming.

John Paul II’s popularity is so widespread that the demand for his beatification is unprecedented. Even Vatican authorities have already raised the possible expected number of crowd from 300,000 to 1 million because of the sheer number of tourist right now in Rome.
