I have been receiving so many inquiries on how to have a sponsorship for the World Youth day 2011 that I am unable to answer all of them. Actually there are two ways: First is to approach your parish priest and tell them that you want to Join the World Youth Day 2011, he will know what to do. And second, you can Join this short film contest by “Goodness Reigns” and have the chance to fly to Madrid during the World Youth Day celebration for Free. The Contest is open to all Catholics and Non-Catholics from age 18 and above who has a desire to be one with the Pope and the youth all over the world. Al you have to do is to create a short film about at one of these categories: (1) Church History (including Bible stories and lives of the saints), (2) Sacraments of the Church, (3) Church Teachings and (4) Present-day Missionary Spirit of the Church. You can select one of these categories for theme of your short film. Winners will be chosen from two divisions:High School and Adult Divisions.

Winner in High School Division can take up to 10 people in World Youth Day 2011 while the winer in the Adult Division can take 4 people with them in Madrid.

Registration and Submission begins on November 19, 2010 up to December 1, 2010 only. The short film entires should be submitted not later than 12 Midnight (EST) on January 1, 2011. All entries will be judged and finalist will be posted online starting April 1, 2011. On that same date, voting will begin and will end on May 1, 2011 at 12 Midnight (EST). The winners will be announced on May 6, 2011. The winers will travel to Madrid for the World Youth Day on August 14 to 23, 2011. BTW, Registration for your short film entires is free.
