I was there in World Youth Day 1995 – Souvenirs

In order for a man to go reach his destination, he must travel light. In my case, it was different. Before I even reach my destination, I have already acquired so many stuff that could burden my journey. As you can see, whenever there is a particularly significant journey in my life, I made sure that I would keep some souvenirs to remind me of the experiences I had. In World Youth Day 1995 in manila, I kept wonderful souvenirs that reminds me of those fantastic five six days adventure with the Pilgrims around the world and an unforgettable encounter with Pope John Paul II. From T-shirts, magazines, pins, posters and yes, even garbage and trash I found along the way, I kep them all. And below are some of them.

    I was only 4 when WYD happened in Manila. But this video is very clear in my memory.

    @Nino – I remember this. It was December 1994 when they launched this ad on TV, exactly one month before the WYD 95
