SSPX Traditionalists disobey the Pope once again

SSPX-disobeys-the-popeAfter John Paul II excommunicated the SSPX (Society of St. Pius X) or better known as the Traditionalists back in 1988 after Bishop Lefebre ordained new bishops without the approval of the Vatican through the Ecclesia Dei signed by the late pontiff himself, the excommunication however was lifted by Pope Benedict XVI just recently, not because the judgement of Pope John Paul II was wrong, but because he wanted to embrace back and heal the wound which divided the children of the Catholic Church. Though the excommunication was lifted, the Vatican maintained that the SSPX led today by Bishop Fellay has no canonical status in the church, which means their ministry and their ordinations still has no effect nor any merit of whatsoever. This action by the Vatican particularly by the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith was sealed in confirmation by Pope Benedict himself:

The Society of St. Pius X still lacks the canonical status required for the legitimate exercise of ministry, which, according to the Pontiff in a letter sent in March to all the Church’s bishops, will only be granted when the society accepts the authority of the Second Vatican Council, along with the magisterial teachings of popes since the council.

Yet, we thought that Bishop Fellay was sincere in seeking reconcilation with the chaurch, regardless of the insensitive Bishop Williamson who denied the holocaust, but, they did it again. They disobeyed the church orders when Bishop Fellay once again, together with his ordained bishops and priests without the approval of the Vatican in Econe, Switzerland just recently.

Not only in Switzerland did the SSPX made travesty of the Canon Law, but also in Germany and in the US.

But new excommunications are threatening the canonical life of SSPX because the Archbishop of Regensburg is saying that a diciplinary action (excommunication) will be granted to the SSPX Bishop Alfonso de Galaretta by Catholic Archbishop Gerard Muller of Regensburg Germany if they plan to push thru with the ordination.

Pride has always been the case of people leaving the Catholic Church. Time and time again, man has always removed himself from the bosom of the church just because they think that they know very well God and his resolutes or they are above the college of Cardinals.

    Dear sir, Read about Jurisdiction , website or Satis Cognitum, Pope Leo 13. SSPX are traditional Liars who with deceit wish to gain men to join their sect that only teaches error, that Ratzinger who is never crowned Pope, never headed the Catholic Church, abandoned the True Faith , etc is Pope !!. They are blinded like the Novus Ordo clergy who also lack jurisdiction by their profession of heresy. > Both of them are in the same pack as wolves… supporters of the Antichrist , working against the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church . Pray to the Virgin Mary.

    SSPX is a legitimate canonical society that was illegally supressed by the Modernist cowards hiding in Rome. Drop your fantasies and follow Christ and his Church. Lord have mercy.

    You don’t know what you are talking about. Gathering from your comment, I can assume that you are angry. Where is the hate coming from? The way you comment is very unchristian and uncatholic.     It seems that you are confused. I would like to think that your confusion is not voluntary or rather a deliberate attempt to twist the facts. What I write here in OTWOMD is based on facts and the news I gather is directly from the Vatican and other respected catholic news agency. Now I know that most of you have difficulty in accepting what is true and real — so I included here a reference to prove that until now, SSPX HAS NO CANONICAL STATUS IN THE CHURCH. THE LIFTING OF THE EXCOMMUNICATION IS FOR THE INDIVIDUALS BUT NOT FOR THE INSTITUTION. This came directly from Pope Benedict XVI himself… from the Vatican Website… Take time in dwelling on the words so that you may understand and smell the coffee. I know this is impossible, But I am still praying that your deliberate attempt to deny the obvious will be cured by accepti ng the truth:

    “The fact that the Society of Saint Pius X does not possess a canonical status in the Church is not, in the end, based on disciplinary but on doctrinal reasons. As long as the Society does not have a canonical status in the Church, its ministers do not exercise legitimate ministries in the Church. There needs to be a distinction, then, between the disciplinary level, which deals with individuals as such, and the doctrinal level, at which ministry and institution are involved. In order to make this clear once again: until the doctrinal questions are clarified, the Society has no canonical status in the Church, and its ministers – even though they have been freed of the ecclesiastical penalty – do not legitimately exercise any ministry in the Church.”

    Let us pray for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. There has been NO true mass on our Altars since 1958 because of sin. (Dan 9 27). Can you find a True Pope, or Bishop with charge of a diocese, or Priest with a parish, offer the True Mass as prior to Vatican 2 Council ? Most probably not. God has punished us this way.. a spiritual chastisement, and very few realise this. Some abandon the Novus Ordo ” church” for sspx, others abandon sspx for forming their own groups,or for other reasons… when the Shepard is struck(as since 1958) the sheep scatter. Pray the Rosary, Wear the Scapular, and with time by our prayers and sacrifices and penances, People will pray for the Conversion of Russia and GOD will restore His True Church.POWER  ALWAYS COMES FROM ABOVE. CATHOLIC MONARCHY WILL BE RESTORED> DIVINE RIGHT OF A TRUE POPE TO APPOINT BISHOPS AND THUS PRIESTS

    seriously brother, what time or era are you living in? And how are you so sure that there were no true mass offered since 1958? did God tell you that directly? did the Virgin Mary appeared to you in a vision? Live in the here and now, on the ground, and don’t fly to high on the clouds or you’ll hit the fan. You need to seek professional help. Gathering from your comment, it seems that you are suffering from religious paranoia. John Paul II has already consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Heart, that’s why the Communist block collapsed. If you will continue to hold onto what you are saying now, I doubt that you will ever find peace. The Devil has taken root at you so deeply that you don’t anymore recognize the mass and the infallibility of the Church. I will pray for you that God may release you from this terrible bondage of denial and paranoia.
