I received a very good news today which made my day really happy. My former nursing students in the University just passed the board exam which they all took last November, 2008. The results was just released today. I never doubted them because ever since I handled them during my stint in the University, I always insist and fought for their rights which to some extent, maybe I overdid it. But nevertheless, I was there when everyone did not believe in them, including their peers. And its my pride and joy that in their successes in their professional and academic life, I have taken part at least a small portion of their pursuit of wisdom. My former mentor in Nursing and later a very dear colleague, Mam Yves, once told me which to this day I will never forget, “The Real Battle is in the Board exam and not in the academic awards”. To these students, I also passed this same belief and I was right. Congratulations. All the best in life. “No Further Comment” as of this moment, Playing Safe! Kudos!
