Our Modern heroes for this post comes from an unlikely profession – Bus Drivers. Last month, Atheists had a hayday when they ran ads on buses, slogans that say “There’s Probably No God — Now Stop Worrying and Enjoy Your Life”. This is very erroneous and fallacious because as far as I know, people who work and live their life having faith and belief in God are far more happier and contented than non-believers. This study backs up my claim and it proves that those who are so engrossed to eradicate the belief in God from the face of the earth are bitter and proud robots who are so desperate in their life that they wanted to drag all people to their misery and emotional emptiness. But with the battle between the Faithful and the non-believers brewing in our midst, Bus drivers fought back.
In Genoa, Italy, Bus Drivers warned the operators that they would refuse to drive buses if Atheists ads would be placed on their franchise. The reason? they don’t want to be responsible in deriding the faith of the believers which sums up the vague and obnoxious purpose of the ads. Same thing with this Bus Driver from England, who professed to his employer that he would refuse to drive a bus bearing such stupid ads. You see, when heathens arise, God calls his heroes to stand up and speak up. This kind of situation is actually an opportunity for believers to profess their faith. After all, if Atheists believes that our life is headed nowhere, then why drive a bus with their ads on it? No bus drivers, no bus, no ads… go figure!
Romuald Matthieson, a.k.a. "bluepanjeet" has been writing in cyber space since 2005. In 2006, he jump-started his Catholic blogging a few years even before the Catholic Church realized the importance of utilizing social networks in spreading the Gospel. In 2007, in response to a realization of the growing need for Catholic Bloggers online, he officially launched his own self-hosted Catholic blog and called it "On The Wings Of My Dream" or simply OTWOMD which is a metaphor of his favorite psalm in the Bible, Psalm 63. Since then he has been blogging, and sometimes podcasting, for the Catholic Church using his enthusiasm in the New Media, his inclination on visual and digital arts, his passion for the written word and his love for the Catholic Church. bro, i never debate to people in other sects about the faith we profess pero kanina i cant keep my mouth shut na when they (people from another sect) think that the judicial killings in davao are God’s will at may basbas ni Lord kasi di na mahalaga ang 10 commandments etc etc… i think im going to post what happened to the conversation… this is even worse as they profess to be Christians themselves
honeys latest blog entry..frustrated gymnast…
Haha Ako din I dont want to argue when it comes to faith. Sometimes its futile. Pero when defense for the Catholic Church is needed, bumibira ako pero di pangmatagalan kasi always off topic na ang mga susunod na birada ng kalaban. And that makes me lose enthusiasm. Sige I’ll read that conversation of yours later.
