For those of you who are not familiar with the Super Bowl, it is actually a championship game between two football teams (formerly from the AFL and NFL). The Super Bowl is likened to a holiday wherein families gather, celebrities watch the championship and its the second highest food consumption day in American history. Super Bowl is also the most watched and highest rated television show in American History that its 15 second commercial slot costs millions. And on Sunday, Feb 1, 2009, Pro-life advocates has finally booked a Pro-life ad by CatholicVote.com on the super bowl slot which costs 3 million dollars. The inspiring story on how they pulled it off is here. And the video of the said ad is after the jump. This is I think the first time that a catholic ad would be shown on Super Bowl because advertisers fight with each other just to get a slot on the Super Bowl gap.
