7-pope-invade-googleA few decades back, the Vatican has modernized it’s Vatican Radio into a full state of the art media zone for the Catholic Church. Then in 1995, John Paul II authorized the establishment of the Official Vatican Website which now contains thousands of documents, photos and videos online. And then recently, the Vatican upgraded their gadgets, technology and buildings in going green and environment friendly. And now, Pope Benedict XVI is ready to invade Google via Youtube.

According to the report, a press conference was held on Friday with Vatican officials present together with Henrique de Castro, managing director of media solutions for Google, which owns YouTube. It will be a collaborative project of Google, the Vatican Radio and the Vatican TV center wherein events, messages, speeches and news about the pontiff would be directly posted on the Said channel for free. This is going to be the latest development of the Vatican utilizing the new media. Now catholics all over the world would see the event in Rome and wherever the pontiff goes wherever they are in the world.

Ewan ko lang kung may ads pero ang alam ko lahat ng Youtube affiliates ay may ads, pero may choice sa setting kung lalagyan nila. Siguro di nila lalagyan kasi minsan ang link sa ads ay taliwas dun sa main topic eh
