When the Apostles were overshadowed by the Holy Spirit during pentecost, they were filled with gladness, joy and courage, and they produced words from different tongues. While I on the other hand, whenever overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, I am filled with ideas and creative juices, producing blogs from whence thousands of words come forth. As if OTWOMD is not enough to consume my very meager time, I created a project that was formerly named “Bluepanjeet Blog 3LOGY” which now became “The Bluepanjeet Pentalogs” to actually drown the remaining time left for me to breathe. There was one, there was three and then there was five…

The Bluepanjeet Pentalogs (with an “s” drawn as a number “5″) is a project I created which evolved from a simple idea into a network of complicated burdens. Seriously, it stemmed from a simple thought of having another blog very different from OTWOMD until ideas which I cannot control flowed through my veins, and one thing led to another, words begets the words of the other, and Shazam! The Bluepanjeet Pentalogs was born.

The Bluepanjeet Pentalogs is actually an ambitious blog expansion project of yours truly to decongest the ideas and concepts trapped inside OTWOMD and expand them and distribute them to four more blogs which will serve as OTWOMD’s annex for its several blog series. For two years, OTWOMD has been overflowing with concepts and ideas that with so many of them in one blog, it seems that there is not enough opportunity to write and accommodate them all. So as a solution, I will expand OTWOMD into five main blogs and will call them all as Bluepanjeet Blogs.

NETWORK OF BLOGS

The Bluepanjeet Pentalogs will be a dream project that will network all five blogs in terms of navigation, feeds and posts. Navigation will be easy because all five blogs will appear on the menu bar for easy access and to prevent the users from typing the url when they want to go to the other blogs.

RSS and Email Feeds will also be networked which means there will be only one RSS feed to be used for the whole five blogs so that if ever the subscribers read the feed, they will get all of the updated posts of the five blogs. Or if one subscribes via email, he will get the recently published posts of all the five blogs. Impossible? Possible!!!

Posts will also be networked in a sense that all five blogs will tackle a single issue in different perspectives (if necessary). For example, (example lang ha), The issue about doomsday or the end of the world, OTWOMD will tackle it in the dogmatic, biblical and psycho spiritual parlance, while the other blog will tackle its political inclinations, and the other blog will handle it in a very humorous way so on and so forth. Least to say, if the issue applies to all of the above blogs, then it will all be covered from different perspectives according to the five blog’s theme and format.

In an analogy, the Bluepanjeet Blogs, will be like a Cable Channel, HBO for instance, having different formats, styles, concepts, but same owner, same principle and same goal. Actually as much as possible, the design and layout will be patterned to OTWOMD’s theme. The colors and graphics will vary, even the fonts and the hues. But the theme and general layout will be the same. Having the illusion that you are in the same planet, but in a different continent. More or so, that is what to expect.

KA PEPE ISSUES

I know some of you might be thinking that the reason why I created four more blogs is for Ka Pepe.. eeennggggkkk! Wrong! The original plan of OTWOMD when it went on Ka Pepe mode last March 2008 was to only save money to buy a DLSR. 10 months later, there is till no DLSR because the money saved where either spent on hospital bills, telephone bills, internet connection bills, electric bills and the whole enchilada of computer upgrading and maintenance. Yet the plan remains as true as ever. OTWOMD’s ka pepe will only be temporary. And in order to do this (please don’t beg me to stop writing Ka Pepe, at least for this year, it pays the bills while I’m a bum), I have to pass on the Ka Pepe accounts to one of this blogs so that gradually I can remove OTWOMD from the Ka Pepe accounts, delete all the Ka Pepe here (hooorahhh!) and return the original charism of OTWOMD as what it was, two years ago. The same will also be true to the other blogs, one by one, they will pass on the Ka Pepe until it finally disappears into oblivion on the last blog.

Siguro naman at that time pwede na ako magtrabaho ng real job and just blog whenever I want to without any pressure and without beating my head off to the wall. Akala lang ng iba masarap mag ka pepe, Neknek nyo! For a free-spirited person ike me, its hell having a constant dictator dictating on my every Ka Pepe entry in favor of Ka Pepe himself. Though I have learned to love my current job and adjusted severly to the pressures of Ka Pepe, it still remain as my number one blogging pain in the ass.

The four blogs will continue to publish quality contents which provokes thought and tantrums alike haha.

WHAT THE HECK AM I THINKING?

I know that my time is already consumed just by maintaining OTWOMD, how much more having 5 blogs all at tha same time? Truth to tell, I have so many free time if I will just properly allocate it. But because I am a procrastinator by birth, I always waste time daydreaming, stalling and thinking which leads to the cancellation of many of my Ka pepes and the overdue of some deadlines in my own blog.

But this time, I want to challenge myself. I am very weak when it comes to time management and this year I really want to challenge myself. I want to grow. I don’t want to stay complacent. I want to keep my toes up and about this 2009 as part of my unending quest for auto-formation as a Catholic Blogger because I always believe that change is the beginning of perfection. And more often than not, the most jarring and shaking change, is ironically the most effective medium of all.

REMNANTS

The Four blogs waiting to be launched are not just a hasty decision. They are all actually part of the History of OTWOMD. These four blogs were the actual early formats of OTWOMD before it was formerly launched in the blogosphere last May of 2007. From August 2005 to April 2007, OTWOMD has gradual changes from formats, designs, titles to concepts until it became what it is now – OTWOMD or the TAPSILOG (Transcribed Audio-visual Psycho-Spiritual Integration LOG). And now, as what St. Francis always teach the brother to go back to the radical roots of their heritage, OTWOMD is doing the same… going back to the basics, to the fundamentals, to the beginnings from which it all started.

Thus the concept of the four new blogs is actually, part and parcel of the soul and history of OTWOMD. Their titles are also taken from the former titles of this blog which will now take their own independent form and become part of the Blupanjeet Pentalogs (Penta which means 5, and Logs which means diary, journal etc, thus Five Blogs) to exist as independent blogs respectively but is part of a greater whole. Just like what we use to say in nursing, they are all independent and interdependent to and from each other. Kung naguguluhan ka, isipin mo na lang United Nations yan haha.

THE PENTALOGS

The Pentalogs consists of five domain names which I purchased. I know its silly right? It is as if I’m obsessed with my own name. But seriously, there is a valid reason why I bought the rights of the five bluepanjeet domains. Simply put it, that if ever someone mistakingly or unwittingly typed a wrong common domain suffix, whether it is .com, .net, .org, .biz or .info, they will still land on the same bluepanjeet blog with links to the other blogs that they were actually searching. Either way they type my domain name by mistake, they will never lose sight of bluepanjeet haha. Clever? nah… just a street wit given by the Holy Spirit. But will the page rank will get confused of the other bluepanjeet blogs with the same domain? will see. experiment mode tayo.

So here are what to expect on the Pentalogs on the coming months

Bluepanjeet.Net – Launched on May 1, 2007

Bluepanjeet.Net will still be OTWOMD or On The Wings Of My Dream, with all the post graphics that highlights every post and banners which will fly every now and then when I wanted something to emphasize. 50 of OTWOMD’s blog series (more or less) will be transferred to the four new blogs. OTWOMD will focus on its original pool of topics which includes everything that deals, promote and pertains to catholicism, psycho-spiritual formation, my personal experiences, people who did extraordinary things in ordinary ways, interviews, world news, oddities, vocations, analysis, and sunday reflections.

Bluepanjeet.Com – Launched on January 31, 2009

Bluepanjeet.Com will be the exact opposite of Bluepanjeet.Net in terms of everything you see and read here haha. The format of BP.Com will be so edgy and never before seen that some of you might ask the question, if its really me who is writing on that blog haha. It will be like OTWOMD’s alter ego, but of course, there is still ethics that will govern the blog, except that, the hilarious and dark side of bluepanjeet will be evident on this blog LOL. Mostly, never seen by readers of OTWOMD. It will tackle everything sensational and scandalous, everything petty and senseless: from politics, entertainment to the deafening issues in the blogosphere itself which involves bloggers haha.

Bluepanjeet.Org

BP.Org will lie between the seriousness of BP.Net and the insanity of BP.com. In terms of color, let me use an analogy: BP.Net is white, BP.Com is black and BP.Org is gray. For it is not bordering on the standards set by the color which represents them. It will be founded on Principles that govern my existence. Convictions that I am ready to fight for whatever it takes. To say the least, BP.Org will blog about advocacies of OTWOMD from the environment, animals, human rights, freedom and religious and vocation promotions. The Blog will be as hard as my principles in life, and as the tablets of the ten commandments. Its all about living the life outside the comfort zones and making them happen as it affects everything that surrounds you.

Bluepanjeet.Info

Bluepanjeet.Info will center on Music, catholic, christian, gospel, love and inspirational music. In short, all music that stirs the heart, the emotion and the love for God and his creation. Aside from Mp3s and Lyrics, I will also include Guitar Chords and tabs, straight from my own Guitar Playing. This blog will not just be a typical MP# site, but it will also feature facts, interviews and stories about artists (amateurs and professionals alike). It will also feature Music Videos from artists and original compositions of youtube users. May it be an instrumental song, with accompaniment, choral, solo or pop songs, this blog will have it. Especially hard to find MP3s of liturgical songs that we use to sing in churches, prayer meetings and the likes.

Bluepanjeet.Biz

And finally, Bluepanjeet.Biz will be my Official Photoblog. It will feature some of my amateur works and my entries on Litratong Pinoy. It will also include Photos from the net, the hilarious, the catchy, the news makers, the sensational, the historical… everything and anything about photos, I will blog about it including Photoshop tutorials and some stock photos that I purchased in the past. It will also house some of the personal photos that I have published in OTWOMD including EB, partys, memoirs and looking back hooplas.

So there you go. All of the Five blogs that will be launched every month starting this January until they are all completed in May 2009, in time for OTWOMD’s Blog Anniversary.

Whew, plano pa lang yan, pano na yung totohanan, haha. Kakapagod.

These developments which will take place is for the sole benefit of the readers and not just for the sake of change alone.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us in 2009 in spreading the word of God throgh the internet.
