When I write about something, I don’t intend it to be controversial. It just happens automatically. As if I have a great control over the readers who read it? I never intended it to be sensational. I just try to write what I think is what my gut and conscience is telling me and then the rest is history. I have been called a “nobody”, “grandstanding”, “Contradicting-self”, and they even gone on the length of cursing my own “mother” just because someone misconstrued what I have read (but really he has no IQ thats why). So in case you are wondering about the lists of these controversial posts, let me me then give you OTWOMD’s 10 Mosts Controversial Posts of 2008.
10. KSP Ka ba sa Friendster? – This entry irked some of my readers haha. Actually I was not pertaining to anyone. But I was pertaining to everyone in general. After reading this, some of them stopped visiting my blog and never came back. Am I to blame for their guilt feelings over such a petty and irrelevant post which is only meant for entertainment purposes? haha
9. If you were in my shoes, would you do the same to a USER-FRIENDLY? – People who read this are divided on the Identity of the person I was pertaining here. Up to this writing, I never revealed it to anyone. Only a few handful have decoded the message haha.
8. Splitting Quezon Province is an idea conceived only by Imbeciles – My blog was swarmed with students from Quezon province when I blogged about it for the first time. The issue was debated among the academic institutions here in our province and the pros and cons had their chance in lambasting our politicians in this entry.
7. Analyzing CBCP: Shedding light on the controversial statement – I wrote this a few days after the CBCP released its controversial statement regarding the NBN=ZTE deal. Apparently, not everyone was happy about it and where more confused than enlightened. So I took the liberty of decoding the statement myself for everyone to understand. Some anti-CBCP commenters engaged in a debate with me on this entry.
6. The Immaculate conception of Tracy Isabel Borres – I was expecting that commenters would again attack me after publishing this, but they didnt. But instead, an anonymous commenter named TROSP left a very long comment, off-topic and off-tangent, and spiteful of ReynaElena’s political wisdom. To say it correctly, he tried twice in using my bog to get even with Reyna, but what TROSP did not realize is that, I for one in my blog does not approve anonymous comments. Even if one is using the same name for years, without proper identity and verifiable email account, who can tell?
5. This is what will happen to the Philippines after signing the GRP-MILF MOA – This was picked up by several blogs and it became controversial as ever because the ELITISTAS in plurk had a hay day in criticizing this and twisting the motives and the real purpose of why I published this in the first place. And because of that free promotion, some moslem bloggers left nasty comments here, which by the way I did not approved because their reasons were off tangent and that their argument were so far fetched, blown into proportion and just fueled by some few charlatans in plurk.
4. Bombing Meralco – I had a great time writing this. It actually borders on imagination and daydreaming, asking the question “what if it did happen?” haha. It became controversial because employees from a Meralco establishment in manila swarmed my post (how did I know? Pleaaseee! I have google analytics). One employee who was so irked at my post even posed as someone. When I tried to delete his nasty comments he changed his name into someone else. So with the powers vested on me by Malen, I stalked him and found his real Identity. I sent him an email and he never visited my blog again haha.
3. Pinoy Idol Entries: 1) Wrong move on Pinoy Idol, 2)What’s the difference Jolens, 3) The early death of Pinoy Idol, 4) Spoonfeeders on Pinoy Idol, 5) The long awaited cremation of Pinoy Idol - This is the pettiest argument and debate I have ever involved myself into. The last thing that I will do as a blogger is to get affected by the nasty comments of fanatics of Jolens and the Kapuso network. I mean, what is that? Is it really worth it to defend a celebrity you dont even know personally? or defend a network that sees you as a potential source of profit? haha read the comments and you’ll be amused by what these fans had left haha
2. My Blog is beautiful and so am I: Yeah right! All about blog narcissism – This is actually the trigger point why some of the bloggers who were formerly in my blogroll stopped visiting my blog. I have disclosed and issued a note everytime I write stuff like these that people in my blogroll need not get guilty or affected by what I write precisely because I always pertain to the general public and never would I include them in my blogroll if I will just attack them later on my posts. I mean am I that sadistic? This entry is my own profiling of the different types of bloggers you can find here in the blogosphere. Go check the list, maybe you are one of them haha.
1. Some People are not just that hungry for awards - And of course, who would ever forget the award-REMOVING post that I have written in September about my dislikes in awards. The post is about my personal experience regarding awards, until some dim witted elitistas from hell attacked me on my own blog. Stupidity wise, these people have an IQ range of a spoon haha. They were cursing me and telling me all sorts of their achievements where in fact I never even mentioned any names. How guilty were they? haha. The funny thing was not the comment itself made by a self proclaimed non-believer-slash-rockstar (laughing in my head), but the fact that he was so angry at my post that I began to to realized how immature he is, both in life and in the blogosphere. I could understand fully this airhead if he was attacking me on matters of life and death, or about rape victims and human rights or environmental causes. But NO! He attacked me just because he wanted to protect the validity of his award. A trophy that will soon rot in oblivion haha. Click the link and read the comments, ewan ko lang kungdi uminit pati bunbunan nyo haha.
It is when my posts are questioned, maligned, attacked, sensationalized and criticized that I begin to believe that I am an effective critique. For who in their right mind would exert so much effort in discrediting what I have written if it did not affect them in any way or if they are void of even the tiniest truth? It figures really. OTWOMD will transfer the war of the words in my new blogs so watch out for it hehe.
