Maybe some of you are wondering where the heck I had been for the past 8 days. Actually its a long long stoy. Lets just say that I was compelled to move from my old server to a brand new host because of an emergency situation and I have been busy up to now restoring the former glory (question mark emphasized) of this blog. I’ll just tell you all the details after Christmas wherein I will be back to blog again. I have so many things to tell you. But before you watch the this very beautiful movie about the Nativity of our savior, let me just give you a gist of what the movie is all about. Gathering from the numerous instances which I saw this movie (and yes I’m still going to watch it tonight before the Noche Buena), the plot is entirely the same, only with added “what may had taken place” scenes that helped spiced up the movie.
Yet with the ordinariness of the story comes an extraordinary truth conveyed by the entire film: The humanity of Mary and Joseph. It is very striking to see a very human portrayal of Mary and Joseph for a change in contrast with all the other films made about them. We are used to see a very Caucasian, beautiful and naive Mary that we tend to forget that she is just as ordinary as you and me. Though in truth and in revelation, Mary deserves the title of Mother of God worthy of our respect, honor and veneration, yet we tend to forget that she is also human like most of us. She lived her very ordinary life with a very extraordinary faith.
As you can see, in the film, there are no fantastic hocus pocus and extravagant manifestation which highlighted the story of the Nativity, precisely because it is telling us that GOD, the word among us, can also be seen, felt and heard in the ordinariness of our very own lives, with or without supernatural phenomenon. Whether you are sleeping, working, taking a bath, cooking, feeding the cat, running an errand, passing by a beggar etc.. God is there, with us. You just need to listen and watch, and let God unfold in your very eyes in the ordinariness of your lives which I would consider as a form of a miracle already.
Tonight, few hours before Christmas, we will not celebrate Santa Clause, nor our family reunions nor Christmas Parties here and there. Tonight, we will Celebrate the birth of our Lord God who came to us in HUMAN form, to be WITH US and AMONG US until the end of time. The Creator of heaven and earth who risked himself of being killed by Herod or being miscarriaged by the long journey of Mary and Joseph and the risk of dying at birth, for he was born without a midwife, secluded in an animal shelter in Bethlehem, unknown to many and was born in a manger, having hay as his mattress and a swaddling cloth for his garment, He is the same God who was born in the ordinariness of human history, without pomp, glamour and fame.
Tonight, as we contemplate the tremendous humility of God, I pray that you may also realize the true meaning of Christmas in our ordinary lives. Because tonight is the same night, that “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).
May you, your family and loved ones be filled with the Holy Spirit as we wait for the coming of the the TRUE JOY THAT THE WORLD CANNOT GIVE
Merry Christmas to all of you and Peace and all Good!
from the little corner of my room,
Bluep (pronounced as “bloop” and not “bloo-pee”)
May the souls of the faithful departed in the purgatory rest this Christmas in HIS everlasting Peace.
Merry Christmas, brother Bluep (I’ve been pronouncing it right, all along
). We wish you more and more of what your heart desires. And thank you daw sabi ni Cutiepie

Hi toni.
merry christmas, kapatid, and God bless you!

Ah yes I remember, nabasa ko nga yan sa IMDB. Baguhan sya diba, pero napaka galing ng kanyang facial expression ano?
i luv these lines:
Ann: There’s always hope, Mary.
Mary: Even in Nazareth?
Ann: Even in Nazareth.
Parang – kahit sa Pilipinas.
