Ako na lang yung natatanging hindi nag-kaka pepe noon. Pero I never attacked them nor purified them because its their choice and I respect them and having a monetized blog is not a sin. Tawag namin sa seminaryo sa mga tao na masyado as in over niroromanticize ang sanctity at morals ay mga moralista. Its an extreme condition bordering fanaticism. I read his blog and MLQ3 even told him that he misunderstood the person he’s accusing of selling his soul. What a dumb puritan he turned out to be. The names of bloggers he lifted on the pedestal were the very ones who has sponsored links and deals with some companies and attending functions of sorts to promote their own interests. I think this blogger is clueless and just wiping their asses. He even dignified the blogger who unwittingly cursed me in his blog during the height of the awards hoolabaloo. Personal or small business, it is the individuals right to exercise that choice. To take this right away is communistic-thinking. This ideology is based on the premise that there should never exist a personality behind the blog. That the blog exists to to uphold this ideology alone. To make money on a blog means you've sold your soul to the capitalistic monster. If we did not have incentives for blogging, if we model it in real life: Communistic China, most people would end up lazy. There is no avenue to better yourself. In blogging, although the future is yet to be proven, if this thinking creeps into each and every citizen of the blogging world, there is no use for most of us. We are by way or chance recyclers of ideas aren't we? This blogger would be the Last Blogger Standing and we would all be in a newer technological medium that would better ourselves. But deep down, this "blogger" is probably frustrated at the competitiveness of the blogosphere and in retaliation would say that it is a filthy world that we swim in. He may have a point, and I respect his reasons why he blogged about it, but before he opens his mouth: disclosure, corporate blogging, ads in a blog, he has to objectify blogging as a whole. His subjective view on blogging reveals his narrow and closed mindedness. And no amount of self propagandizing and name dropping could increase his like-ability meter.
