US President-elect Barack Obama just called Pope Benedict XVI to thank him personally for the congratulatory telegram which was sent to him by the Pontiff after he won the Election. This was confirmed by the Director of the Vatican Press Office. In the papal telegram, the Bishop of Rome promised Obama his prayers so that God assists him in his “weighty responsibilities at the service of the nation and the international community.” And it expressed his wish that the Lord’s blessings support Obama and the American people, “together with all men and women of good will, [in efforts] to build a world of peace, solidarity and justice.” Now with Obama establishing diplomatic relations with the Pope, will he still pursue the abortion policies he mentioned during his campaign? As early as now, US Bishops stand united in condemning any laws that will promote and legalize abortion in the US. Will Obama maintain the support of the Pope amidst this issue?

While across the miles, Gloria is still crying over spilled milk when Obama did not return her call. Surely Obama appreciates our dearest Madame’s congratulations, it’s just that Gloria doesn’t belong in the circle of the Elite and Wise leaders of the World. She doesn’t embody the trust of the Filipino People, as well as the people of the world. So the question here is not about the reaction of Gloria on Obama’s phone call to Pope Benedict XVI, but the question of “Is she really worth calling back? After all, she almost prostituted the Philippines to China via Spratly’s”. Ironic but true, Gloria is not only the most hated Leader in the Philippines, but she also gained notoriety as the most snubbed Leader in the world! Hahaha (Dancing on the ceiling here!). The Indians call it Bad Karma if I may add! It is as if the World is already telling her, “Give it up shorty!”. Now with all this, the President is scheduled planning drooling over to meet Obama in Chicago, what will she do if Obama snubs her again? mag tango na lang sila ni JocJoc haha

We here in the USA are praying that our president-elect realize just what is involved if he goes through with his initial plan to allow abortion at all times and have the government pay for it all. Our people have elected him and now we are called to pray for him. Our bishops (USCCB) have written a powerful and yet beautiful letter to Obama. They are standing strong on the abortion issue. If you are reading this from another country, please pray for us. Thank you.

Fr. Martin, I’m with you and all of the Bishops in the US in your cause. If it takes to saturate my blog with all the education about abortion I will do it.

I hope he will be enlightened regarding the abortion issue. I wrote a simple analogy about the human life. I don’t know if anyone has already read it but its just a simple analogy of the beginning of human life

Haha yes Fr. I do. That’s why I used the photo because its quite funny. I’m not sure if this is deliberate or accidental in the part of Obama.
