My first reaction was to feel the urgency you mentioned above. Our islands here in the Pacific are sinking not because of their weight no...but because of the rising sea level. We do not have any SNOW or GLACIERS, we do not have any MEGA-FACTORIES - but we only have SANDY BEACHES, PALM TREES AND A HANDFULL OF COASTAL VILLAGES. AND THESE LITTLE THAT WE HAVE IS SLOWLY BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM US BY THE ACTIONS OF SOME "CLEVER/SMART" INDIVIDUALS/GROUPS WHO THINK THAT THEY ARE JUSTIFIED IN HELPING SINK OUR ISLAND HOMES FOR THEIR INTERESTS. How would they feel if they were in our shoes? Yes they will jump and keep on jumping until they are heard. But we of the Isles of the Pacific, no matter how high we jump we will always be ignored. But we still hope and that is what we cling to. We support you for informing others about the great sense of urgency to look after our precious earth...it is still not too late Vinaka.
