This is the joint decision of the His excellency the Archbishop of Lipa, Ramon Arguelles and the Reverend Mother Teresa, Prioress of the Community of Discalced Carmelites in Lipa.

In view of the increasing interest and devotion to Our Lady under the title of Mary Mediatrix, A view deck is currently being constructed at the location which will enable the faithful to view the most sacred grounds of the apparitions of 1948.

The target completion date is as of the moment set at May 31. It will then be opened to the public soon after.

May this development bring the faithful more closely to Our Lord Jesus through his mother who unceasingly calls us to repentance and renewal of faith.

I am from Lipa City and our house is actually just a block away from where the coconut tree that you mentioned is located. I can still remember the night when the miracle happened. I was able to see the image from our window. I had goosebumps and I can't explain how I felt during that time. Mt. Carmel Church is also near our place, just a few blocks away from our house. The place is really solemn. For those you haven't visited the church, if you do have time, please do. I also remember during the time of the apparition on the coconut tree, we were also able to see the "dancing sun". I was in school at that time. It's a phenomenon, really amazing. Man, it's just now that I realized how many miracles I've witnessed. Including all the good things that had happened in my life. No matter how impossible it may seem, as long as you believe.
