The reason why God gave us eyes, ears, mouth and hands is to be able to see what is happening around us, to be able to hear what the people is yearning, to be able to speak up in times of need and to be able to give a helping hand when others have none… Last week I read the post of Reyna Elena about the Sagip Maldito Drive which intends to help the victims of typhoon Frank. As you know, Maldito is one of my blog friends in WPP and his home province Iloilo was the center of the wrath of the menacing typhoon Frank. This is my way of responding and helping to spread the word around, of the dire situation of our kababayans not only in Iloilo but also throughout the country that was devastated by the tropical storm. It’s delayed actually but sabi nga nila huli man daw at magaling POGI pa rin. Been busy from a lot of things but I still found time to make this special post. I prepared a Music Video in tribute to the victims of Typhoon Frank and the infamous maritime tragedy of Sulpicio lines. As I browsed the photos of the aftermath of the typhoon, I was stupefied. The photos speak for themselves and it made a powerful impact on my hardened heart. As What a Malacanang Exec said when he saw the bodies of the victims “it was a horrendous sight. I can’t sleep for several nights…”.
