Pope John Paul was the first non-italian Pope after 300 years. His journey towards papacy is very evident in his biography. Throughout his pontificate, he continuously sought the Children of God in most of the Marxist country. According to the third secret of Fatima, this communist countries, especially Russia will soon fall if the Holy Father will consecrate them to his Immaculate heart. True enough that when he visited Czestochowa to hold the World Youth Day of 1991, the iron wall gradually collapsed giving way to freedom from slavery starting with his homeland, Poland. His visit to Czestochowa in 1991 was seen as the beginning of the end of the grip of Marxist countries in most of the European nations. To this day only Vietnam, Cuba and China are the only nations tied up with Marxist ideologies. Polish Pope Karol Wojtyla won the hearts of many when he became the first non-italian pope to ever grace the vatican halls after 300 years.
