Sometimes whenever I’m so tired in life, so tired of the monotony that is happening in my daily life, so exhausted in my daily struggles, I feel I wanted to quit. Many times I attempted to quit but I always managed to get up on my feet and move on again. I have also known many people in the past that experienced the same thing that I did. Sometimes we just bum around with beer on our table and sharing stories of ironies and depressions. But that was 3 years ago. In hindsight, I realized that if I continued staying with that kind of set-up, wallowing myself with friends who are as depressed as me, I cannot move on with my journey. So when I did have the chance to let go of the quicksand, I renewed myself and promised to stay as positive as ever. Today I am as happy and contented with my life, though I still wanted to move further in my journey and reach for my dreams, yet there are still flickers of sadness that pass by. It’s normal. For without pain and suffering, loneliness and depression, there will be no happiness and contentment. And with all the “I-wanted-to-quit” experiences that I had, I gained an insight: Never ever quit whenever emotions overwhelms you. Blog hopping yesterday, I saw this clip from Pareng Fitz which motivated me in writing this post.
