I just happen to stumble upon this video in one of my subscribed channel in youtube. I got curious since I wanted to know what?s the fuss about invoking section 20 during the senate hearing and where in the constitution or law it is particularly contained. But that curiosity was replaced by amusement. At first I really wanted to know the nature of that law but as I watched closely the video, it made me imagine what it would be like to hear in a wedding ceremony the words ?I invoke section 20? instead of the traditional exchange of ?I do’s?. The matter of fact is that Senator Jamby Madrigal?s feisty persistence in invoking the spirits of the section 20 made the senate proceedings more of a religious-slash-superstitious spectacle than a legislative caucus. I really do not know if she resembles a wicth calling all the spirits of the winds or a bride exchanging vows with a military personnel during a wedding ceremony. Try to watch and see for yourself what I’m talking about
hail to the guardians of the power of the east, i invoke thee!
