Just when the year is just starting, a new and fresh idea from the Pinoy blogosphere just sprung-up from nowhere to give every pinoy political characters a taste of their own medicine. Who among you are suckers for Philippine Political Satire, raise your hand! Well this blog is for you. Like myself, who sometimes make fun of our country?s political situation, this blogger gives me the stomachache just with the might of his humor and wit.
The Blog is called ?Ang Tagal Naman? which was created by a Thailand-based Pinoy journalist and press freedom advocate, Roby Alampay.
The genesis of this genius blog came from the result of the author?s online conversation with friends after the infamous Manila Peninsula Stand-off. The author is neither a fan nor a follower of Trillanes but just had the impulse to use the power of the cyber medium to get across the world his message of Press freedom and political reform in the Philippine Government.
Some of the features of his blog is this ala-OTWOMD NCLEX timer that counts the actual number of days, time and seconds left before Madame Arroyo vacates her position on June 30, 2010. Only geniuses can actually think of this idea.

Some of his posts includes hilarious array of survey-polls that tickles the satirical and humorous side of the readers.

Another is this so-called Fans club of Trillanes, which really tossed me to the ceiling, laughing.

And of-course this mock-manifesto parody of Trillanes? rebellion which is undoubtedly written intelligently yet very very funny.

With just barely 2 months in existence in the blogosphere, this blog has already registered 5,000+ unique hits. Another Kuya Selvo in the making.

With this kind of blog, who says that I?m alone in my crusade, ?If you can?t beat them, mock them? Laughter is still the best medicine.” If I were you I will link it up on my blogroll because this is one heck of a Blog-ride, political satire and comedy at its finest! Only Here In The Philippines errr I mean Bangkok to be geographically accurate. One word: Haylaykit!

Nothing beats Pinoy political controversies! The key players are so very entertaining. It’s nice that we can laugh about these things although they are very serious matters. This is why I believe the Pinoys will continue rise above the challenges thrown their way – but at the same time, how far do we get?

Haha Doc correct. We Pinoys are so innovative especially when it comes to making fun of our situation. there are negative and positive side of things, but somehow this things make us forget that the dire condition our country is in.

It was actually my first time.
Dalawa na pala kayo ni Rebecca a.k.a. Skippy heart na silent reader ko. Yaanmo in the near future kaw naman ate elen ang naka-lagay dun sa my OTWOMD Fan ko haha.
Hehe.
