On The Wings Of My Dream In The Greater Scheme Of Things

These is a triple “Tag Team” by Dom, Rino and Rebecca. It is supposed to be only three things I won’t let go but because the three of them tagged me, I guess it is 3 x 3 is equals to nine. So here are my nine things and people I won’t let go of.
1. I won’t let go of my God. He is my savior and I am his servant. I am willing to die a thousand times for my Lord even if I don’;'t make it to heaven. So many times that he saved me and this is the only thing I can give him… my faithfulness to him in my own little way.
2. I wont let go of my Allegiance to the Church. the catholic church is not perfect merely because like Christ,it is also human and Divine (that’s why she is called her Bride). Some people who I know strike the balance with weight on the other side, but without really knowing the true nature of the Church. The Catholic Church, like other religions of the world has its flaws, but it is not enough reason to abandon her. Like St. Francis who renewed the Church inside it and not outside it, I will also stay put where I first learned the words God, Faith, Hope and Love.
3. I won’t let go of my beliefs, principles and personal convictions no matter how they contradict the society’s standards. It is my own way of telling the world who I am, what I have been taught and what I have to say. Most of these convictions are from my experiences and from the kernels of my mentors wisdom. These are the only things I have for my self. I may not have money, luxury, and even a Mansion with an Olympic size swimming pool and a heliport, but these for me is everything I have. from these convictions I gather my strength, energy and inspiration to share what is the real meaning of life.
4. I won’t let go of life. Even at times I almost fell on the verge of giving up. Yet life is full of wonders and mysteries. Ceasing to live is ceasing to hope in coming home with God.
5. I won’t let go of the truth. The truth is my only ally. No amount of white lies, no matter how noble they are can outshine the glory of truth. It is the truth that always liberate man. and from these truth I liberate my self from the falsities and half truths of my weaknesses and flaws.
6. I won’t let go of my Mystery and Privacy. Sometimes people think that because I’m open to my life’s humor and Irony, they already know me that well. What I share here in my blog or in my personal conversations with people is only the tip of the iceberg. You can spend the whole year with me, yet not even knowing at least 15% of the mystery inside me. The only mistake that my friends and new friends commit against me is that they thought they know me too well. Proven by experience, it is not always the case. There are only three people in my lifetime who really knew me in and out of my cavernous identity, and they did not even have the effort of doing so. The more people try to know me, stalk me and probe me, the more they are misled because what you always see is always deeper than what you always get but in a different shade of reason which oftentimes are mistaken as it is. let’s just say I’m a human Iceberg and no matter how I tried to afloat what lies beneath always end up in misunderstanding. so i’ll just let you enter @ your own risk.
7. I won’t let go of my Sanity. Mahirap ata ang mawalan ng ulirat.
8. I won’t let go of my humanity.
9. I won’t let go of my Family and friends for they are my only treasures here on earth.
Sometimes we have to let go of things that attach us and enslave us. But there are also things in life worth having and worth cherishing. So what are the things you won’t let go of?
