Where do I begin? I started my blogging days two years ago in friendster blog. There were no comments back then, for the span of one year and 3 months, I only got eleven comments. Now it seems that this blog is full of comments everywhere you click. Thanks to you my readers and fellow bloggers for being a part of this blog since day 1 of its conception.
Why do I have to celebrate the 100 post? It is because that my humanity is very much reflected here in the pages of OTWOMD: all of the happiness, heartaches, failures and triumphs are all documented here. It is in our humanity that I write most of the time and which inspires me to bring you my best every time a post is published.
This is a simple hobby, turned into a passion, which later turned into a mission: The mission to tell everyone that it is okay to cry, it?s okay to get angry and it?s okay to smile and laugh at the most insignificant things precisely because we are humans. And this humanity is what I want to celebrate here.
About the Catholic Blogger
Romuald Matthieson, a.k.a. "bluepanjeet" has been writing in cyber space since 2005. In 2006, he jump-started his Catholic blogging a few years even before the Catholic Church realized the importance of utilizing social networks in spreading the Gospel. In 2007, in response to a realization of the growing need for Catholic Bloggers online, he officially launched his own self-hosted Catholic blog and called it "On The Wings Of My Dream" or simply OTWOMD which is a metaphor of his favorite psalm in the Bible, Psalm 63. Since then he has been blogging, and sometimes podcasting, for the Catholic Church using his enthusiasm in the New Media, his inclination on visual and digital arts, his passion for the written word and his love for the Catholic Church. I thought I’ll be ignoring you when you said “TO MAINTAIN THE SEQUENCE AND SUSPENSE, DO NOT SCROLL DOWN IMMEDIATELY OR SCAN BELOW, JUST READ THROUGH AND THROUGH?” pero I’ll have to follow your instructions in the end because youtube took time to fully load the videos.
I personally loved the second video with “Sukob na” in the background the most. It’s so full of happy energy. That goes the same with the first one. Loved the sunset photos and the frozen-mid-air shots. Gusto ko din ng ganyan.
The Bless the Broken road gave me a hint of what you really are. Keep up the good works!
And while I’m here, I’d like to borrow the “Sukob Na” video. I won’t tell you what will I use if for. LOL!

@Chuva.. hahaha loko ka talaga… inalis ko na yung first vid na may nabasag na salamain, nahiya na ako kay malen ahahaha.. baka di pa pumunta yun dito bukas hahaha…uy may iba pala nanood… si diwa at kutz ba yan ? kumusta mo po ako. not worthy ka jan.. lol pagikaw umuwi dito chuvs kukunan kita ng marami shots at igagawa din kita tulad nung kay malen lol.. joke lang… yung footages? magaling tayo mandekwat sa ibat ibng source.. aabutin ka nga lang syam syam… email ko sayo yung iba free stock footages… at kung pano… kakailangin mo sa mga commercials mo.. @Reynz – actually my former students were cryingfrom start to finish, sinabihanko lang sila na hold their emotions kasi baka di nila magampanan yung pinunta dun, pero nung pahuli na wala na akong nagwa, they all cried and even the hardest of all hearts sa mga student kong lalaki natunaw na.
YUng naka focus sa #3 4th year na sya. I havent heard from him since last may because I changed my number. eto kasing mga bata na to pag hindi tatay ang turing sa akin eh kuya, most of the time they will text me about their problems in and out of school and sometimes im carried away so I and my former students made a pact na wala muna makikipag communicate sa akin till after my exam para di ako madistract.till now la pa ako balita sa kanila. pero pwede mo iistok at kasama mo naman si malen eh haha. mababait yang mga bata na yan. at first they were a problem of mine kasi sobrang gugulo pero later they all matured. thats why they were able to execute the programs that I told them…

@Pareng KK, buti naman pinayagan ng China ang vids ngayon.. nakisama ngayon ah.. actually di ko sana ilalagay yun “caution” kaya lang sabi ko baka mawala yung suspense pag nagskip sa sunod sunod hehe.. Pareho tayo ng choice KK.. although the Rascal Flats vid is really very inspiring and tear jerking for me, pero mas sentimental sa akin yung sukob na its because these kids stood up for me during my lowest in my professional career.. syempre di mawawala ang stress sa trabaho pero they were all there for me. Actually i dont treat them as students anymore but as my brothers and sisters, higit pa.. kaya when i put the BG music, i decided that it should be about friendship.. ayan ang resulta.. by all means bro.. that’s what youtube is for.. @Pareng Az, you know bro, dati super bakal ang loob ko.tarantado ako nung HS eh.. actually di nga makapaniwala mga bkada ko ngayon na bumait na ako eh (mabait pa daw haha). kidding aside till now naiyak lang ako sa harap ng talagang mga kaibigan ko or palagi pagwala makakakita… I think it’s a man thing sa atin yun… pero pare pag ganito na ang situasyon tulad nung sa vid sa taas, kahit ano gawin ko noon na pigil, grabe wala ako nagawa. I had 3 male nursing students there who are actually members of a national fraternity and holding very important positions in their chapter pero wala din, mga bumigay na din nung pahuli. di umubra yung padel nila haha. (kumamay kay Az) basta sa pagiging tao parekoy, sama sama tayo! Salamat nga pala sa pag daan… tagay muna!

@Mogli – the “talon” part was so funny. The first take we had, a girl student of mine dropped flat on her butt on the gutter of the pool haha. It took us 15 minutes to persuade her to try again for the second take haha. you can see it very clearly on the video. she’s on the extreme left. mataba pa mandin ka yung bata hahaha.
