Maybe you are wondering why I haven’t answered most of the comments here and haven’t posted anything here so far. 3 Reasons:
1. I was absent for 1 week here in my blog because I edited some music videos for my student’s community project (long story– don’t ask) during my free time. Connecting to the internet made my movie software crash that’s why I was forced to abandon the net.
2. My Database in Freehostia is almost exceeding. so I applied for a sponsor site. they approved it and last monday I started to unpack my things and transfer all my files to my new server. I can’t afford to post any more entries here because I am 1 megabyte short of exceeding
3. I am depressed right now for failing to transfer my files in my new server. I downloaded my database which is 6 mb but it seems that the import function of wordpress has a limit of 2mb and that myphpadmin also has a limit in uploading my database. so whenever I upload my DB it says error.
I guess I’m stuck here at freehostia for good.
anyone.. if you have any Idea of what I’m talking about please feel free to help me. I really need your help. I already followed Ronnie’s instruction but my export XML file is too large and I don’t know how to upload my (also) Database file. they all keep on saying the same message over and over again : ERROR.
I’m too depressed and too exhausted to study technical terms from the wordpress support forum so if you have any instructions that are easily understood by my limited knowledge and very exhausted vision and comprehension, then bring it on or else I am stuck here forever and this blog would not continue to exist.
I am already tempted to give to anyone my password and access to my old and new server just so anyone can help me.
If this is not an emergency I don’t know what this is.

you mean to say that you migrated your blog from freehostia to another hosting site? I see that your blog platform is WordPress and there’ a help section available regarding that.

there are several message support regarding wordpress xml import problems. marami nga lang mga suggested methods but this is only i can give you and hoping this would help. Blogger kc blog platform ko eh kya d ko pa alam ung iport method na gnagmit ng wordpress.
You could also ask or inform your hosting/server provider about that. They’ll glad to help you out.
No you’re not ‘stuck’. What you can do is ask your new host to set the transfer to a higher value (more than 6 MB) OR if you have the ‘php.ini’ file in your root, just set it to a higher number (7Mb will do.)

That sounds like a lot of hassle, I am sorry my friend. I tried having music on satire and theology before and certain complex image files, and I found that it slowed the loading of my blog.
whew! I thought something happened to you.. I’m glad to hear that you’re fine and doing well – - I know how hard it is to transfer files.. so let us leave you alone to figure out your move..

You can keep trying. It happened to me before. And I realized that wordpress will just pick up from the last post imported. I took me like 10 times to complete the whole bunch. LOL
