reynz i searched for that cpu limit that you’ve been talking about and I have an info that will enlighten you on that. tell me if you are interested.

its not your theme that they want you to optimize. there is a plugin, javascript or something installed there that makes your page loading very frequent as in na-reach na nya limit nya.

sometimes its because of the spammers. 200 spam per day is too much and it takes up all the page loading which increases your cpu limit. kaya ka winarningan nung host mo.

my cpu limit is only 1.3% computed in cpu per second. usually makikita mo itong mga pinagsasasabi ko sa help/FAQ/Forum ng host mo. tingnan mo rin you statistics ng website mo sa control panel mo sa dreamhost at makikita mo ang daily cpu usage ng blog mo.

better find out that thing (plugin o anuman) installed on your site na gustong gustong putaktihin ng spammers kasi your host will suspend your blog if it continues to reach its limit (wag naman sana, wla na ako tatambayan). makikita mo rin ito sa control panel mo sa dreamhost.

hey thanks for the reminder. I haven’t figured yet that back up thing. I already downloaded and installed the plugin but in all honesty, i really am lazy to modify everything. sorry, because of the new plugin which I haven’t manually modified, your post will not anymore show. but instead, will be confirmed by a numerical value below. if that appears, it just means that its already in and waiting for moderation. as soon as I have enough freetime, I would modify it manually so that the comment previews would show.

I am in the same boat. My landlord (bluehost) is getting annoyed at me because ang suso ko daw eh uma-apaw nang uma-apaw and my CPU had reached its quota parati. I was told to optimize my site. I said OPTI-WHAT?!!! Malay ko ba kung ano yon! Kaya ayan, nag-hahanap ako nang matinong template na optimized coz babaguhin ko ang bahay nang reyna.

wow that was indeed a lot of changes… oh and by the way, be sure to back up your template before making all those changes so that if things doesnt go well (God forbids), you still have a copy of your working template…
