Survivor Philippines Episode 2: pretty girls are lazy! fat guys swear!

Sept. 16, 2008 - Second day of the Survivor Philippines and attitudes are already showing. Two castaways have earned my ire today haha and I think they will be my favorite target here on my blog for the nest few weeks. But before anything else, Patani whose E and I are interchanged because of her Visayan accent gives light moments on the show especially when she speaks “epikto” and “endostreya”. Patani is one tough female to beat since she knows how to adapt to hard life as well as Chev who managed to catch crabs and balatans. One disadvantage of Patani however that will surely give her away on the tribal council is her obvious love for attention which is understandable considering her background. Patience is very evident on the oldest among the female castaway, Zita who continues to work and use her instinct on the game. Vern however was emotional but was very positive on the game.
Nikki just slept and slept all day. A typical pretty girl who is just beauty (brains?) but without any knack for industry, initiative, and diligence. I have classmates like her before who just deceives you with their face but inside that sexy body is a bottomless pit of vanity, devoid of essence. Parang mannequin, beautiful but hollow inside haha.
On the Jarakay tribe, the male castaways continued their search for wood and some materials for their tent. They found the drinking well and however managed to come up with some innovations on how to store water. Yet, conflict arises when this swearing fat guy (marlon) acted as the leader of the group. Man, I hate people like that. Kumbaga sa salitang maynila–maangas!
Tomorrow’s episode will highlight the conflict.

I agree with your observation, Marlon is showing an attitude that’s really irritating. He comes across as obnoxious and a TH (trying hard). I guess when you don’t have that much assets, you have to make a lot of noise to compensate.

hello Cora. Yes I agree. Its too early for alliances since they have to be solid for the their own tribe. I don’t know if he’ll gonna last long in the camp.
I met a lot of people like marlon and I can tell you that such behavior is just a brag. an empty tin can with nothing inside it… just pure noise.

Pakiramdam ko hindi si charisse ang maalis kasi nakikisama naman sya dun kina zita eh. Sina Kaye at Nikki ang sobra tamad. haha
may nagsabi nga sa akin na sana daw di na sinali yung dalawa kasi lampatots naman. maganda lang ang katawan. Meron daw kasi mga nag auditon na may sporty at mas maganda sa kanila dalawa.
hmmm hindi ko nabalitaan yan kung kakain yan ng buwaya. pero malamang kasi yung oyster na hilaw kinain nya nung second day eh.

alam mo very funny na despite many people hates marlon nandun pa rin sya, maraming dramang ngyayari at pakiramdam ko sinasadya talagang iwanan at di mavote out ang marlon pambenta e kung wala sya wala ng kontrabida at pag wala ng kontrabida wala nba nga namang excitement sa show.
