Regodon of designs for the new World Trade Center tower

435

Did you know that before rebuilding the new World Trade Center, there are hundreds of Designs that were submitted to replace the long gone twin towers. On September 11, 2001 (exactly 7 years ago) four planes were hijacked in mid-air. Three of them succeeded in their targets and the remaining one failed. Two of the Planes crashed deliberately on the North and South Tower of the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan. The one crashed on the Pentagon. And thefourth one crashed on a wooded area somewhere in Shanksville Pennsylvania. The Lower Manhattan Commission announced in 2002 that a new WTC will be rebuilt. Many submitted their designs including Donald Trump himself, but only one was chosen. Some are gorgeous, others are futuristic, and some are utterly ridiculous. The New WTC will house the business sector and a memorial to the victims. Below are some of the designs and the chosen design called freedom tower. You can’t help exclaim in seeing some of the designs “thank God it didn’t won”.
