God Will Make A Way by Don Moen
By bluepanjeet on Sep 11, 2008 in Glory

You know the Lord really works in mysterious ways. Almost always he keeps me surprised by his infinite wisdom working in my life. Sometimes when I wanted something, he doesn’t give it to me. And most of the time when he does, I just thank him anyway, for I always hold in my heart this passage from Job: “the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD” (Job 1:21). Most of the time to my surprise, he gives back what he took, multiplied and overflowing, seemingly testing my faith in Him—Siksik, lig-lig at umaapaw. Just recently he took something away from me which I would not disclose here. I told IFM about it and she said to have faith and pray. Well I admit I was devastated but I never was angry because I knew he was the one who gave me that blessing and who am I to question Him if he ever takes it back?
For a day I was so worried about my future, for my survival depends on that petty thing. But I kept thanking Him even though in my heart I do not know what to do. I kept on telling myself that he will provide things and that he will make a way. At 5 pm, I saw that he gave it back to me. I really don’t know how it was possible since it rarey occurs. But I never questioned his Omnipotence. He really knows what’s the best for us, all we have to do is just pray, keep our humility and never ever doubt him. You know his mercy is really a grace to behold. I should know because it happened to me today. So as my thanksgiving to his wisdom and faithfulness, here is one of my favorite songs which I always listen to whenever I wonder about the future. God works in ordinary things in extraordinary ways.
GOD WILL MAKE A WAY
written and performed by Don Moen
God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way
He will make a way
By a roadway in the wilderness
He’ll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His Word will still remain
He will do something new today
