Advice for the newbies

Three of my online friends are now currently engaged in establishing their own self-hosted blogs. To name them, IFM, Mix and Bloggityblogs are now in the process of installing their new blogs in a new host, different from their Wordpress.com accounts. I have so encountered so many questions regarding self-hosted blogs but what is common is the question about web hosting. Apparently, most of the three are just new to the trend and they have no previous experience in installing and modifying blogs in a server. So the most common question that I got from the three is “Is self-hosted blogs expensive to maintain?” my answer is a staggering NO!
Self-hosted blogs are not that expensive to maintain since you only have to pay a minimum amount to be able to operate online. Most of these web hosts have packages in store for their clients that are varied in terms of features, amount and dynamicity. Actually, my advice to those who are still new to this trade is this: look for a website that features different web host such as the webhostinggeek.com wherein price, traffic, limitations, bonus features and packages are enumerated in table form for better comparison. In this way, you have a better vision and a better freedom to choose which web host suits you, your lifestyle of your goal, whether its business or personal. In this way, you’ll never have problems when it comes to decision making regarding the best web host to choose.
