I went to New York to visit the Queen

I went to London to visit the queen; well that is how the rhyme goes. Actually I went to New York to visit the Queen. Well actually, it is not the queen herself but her Wax Figure displayed on Madame Tussaud?s Museum. You will never guess what had happened to me when I first visited that Museum. It was fantastic as if the wax figures are real life. You can never tell the difference if they moved. Though I had a fun time, yet my first time in the Museum was so embarrassing. I began my tour with the New York tours as I was taken to so many places in New York. My itinerary for that day includes Madame Tussaud?s Wax Museum, so I guess you already figured out why I was telling you this story on the first place.
When I arrived there, there were so many people lined up to enter the Museum. I waited for my turn to enter. When I finally came inside the Museum, the numerous wax figures displayed there astounded me. From Hollywood stars, political figures and even religious figures?they are all there. Until I came close to a certain wax figure that had its back turned from the visitors. I thought it was made like that. No one was looking so the curiosity in me crawled like a cat inside me. I touched the garment that the wax figure was wearing and tried to poke the behind with my fingers. The wax figure moved and turned his head on me. I screamed in fright and shouted with a loud cry ahhhhhhhh. Until when everyone was looking at me and the woman I just poked stared at me like a tiger, did I only realized that she was not part of the wax figures. Haha. So I guess next time I should read first the museum brochure at Madame Tussauds wax museum before poking someone from behind. I enjoyed New York when I was there in 2002.
I saw, New Jersey, Manhattan and the Bronx. I saw the Yankees, the UN, Trump Tower, and enjoyed seeing things in person I had previously only seen on television.
Army, if you get a chance please vote on my thekingpin68 latest.
