World youth day is not just for catholics but for all youth of the world. Sad to say, some atheist are really questioning this event. well in fact madaming religions ang makakapagpatunay that this is a celebration of faith, no matter who your God is. Nagkataon lang si John Paul II nagpasimula. To tell yo my experience in WYD would be so everwhelming. Its an experience I can never ever forget. 1995 pa WYD sa manila pero talagang alam ko pa rin detalye at mga experiences ko kasi naka tatak na sa puso talaga. that was the first time I cried in public, on the streets, when I saw JP II a few 2 meters away from me in his pope mobile. After that I heed his call of "Do not be Afraid". That was the main reason why I entered the seminary. I want to be a part of his so called new form of martyrdom.
