3 days to go before WYD 2008 in Sydney and everyone is already excited (me too I’m getting riled up) from all the exposure that the event is getting from the leading Media networks all over the Globe. Reuters, AFP, AP, CNN, The Australian Daily telegraph, BBC, you name it they are all in australia covering the much awaited and biggest youth gathering of the World. Here in OTWOMD you will have a live streaming video coverage of the events of WYD 2008 as they unfold direct to your Windows Media Player courtesy of EWTN.     waaaahhhh!!! i really treasure my WYD experience in manila way back in….. i forgot na… basta high school pa ako nun at mukhang gusgusin at talagang promdi na promdi. ay teka, hanggang ngayon pa rin pala ay mukha pa rin akong promdi. hindi ako catholic but the experience was life turning. bakit? it’s a long story but i get to decide about one thing in my life and hindi naman ako nagsisisi hanggang ngayon.

    uy bakit dito sa amin, parang dedma yata ang media sa WYD? or dahil wala pa kaming cable tv kaya hindi ako nakakapanood ng tv, haha! wala kasing masagap ang aming rabbit antenna.

    uy nagparticipate din ako sa WYD sa Manila dati. grabeng experience, surreal!

    good for you. World youth day is not just for catholics but for all youth of the world. Sad to say, some atheist are really questioning this event. well in fact madaming religions ang makakapagpatunay that this is a celebration of faith, no matter who your God is. Nagkataon lang si John Paul II nagpasimula. To tell yo my experience in WYD would be so everwhelming. Its an experience I can never ever forget. 1995 pa WYD sa manila pero talagang alam ko pa rin detalye at mga experiences ko kasi naka tatak na sa puso talaga. that was the first time I cried in public, on the streets, when I saw JP II a few 2 meters away from me in his pope mobile. After that I heed his call of “Do not be Afraid”. That was the main reason why I entered the seminary. I want to be a part of his so called new form of martyrdom. O tama na madrama na ako haha

    Its all over the news, CNN, ABC, Fox, BBC, reuters, AP, AFP and most especially EWTN. Kung wala ka balita dyan, click mo lang yung nasa sidebar ko, may live coverage tayo ng WYD direct from sydney courtesy of EWTN. Tingnan mo lang yung schedule kasi iba-iba ng time zone. Icelebrate natin ang WYD kahit through spirit.
