And they grabbed the ball in Game 5! Lakers won over Celtics trailing in 3-2 standing: 103-98

Defying most of the critics and anti-Lakers prediction that Celtics will grab game 5 based on the stats alone, Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Los Angeles cagers proved that predictions are best left unsaid. Claiming the second win in Game 5, many analyst are saying that the trophy will surely be brought home by the unified whoopers of Boston Celtics. But Phil Jackson is trying to counter-attack the prevailing notion by boosting the Lakers to fight till the end with their defensive and offensive strategies at play. But the odds are against the Lakers coming game 6 because as the stats have already laid, there is a great wave that will cause the victory and success of the mighty trio of the Celtics, yet Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Lakers will do everything to take home the victory, metaphorically speaking. The interesting question will be, will the Boston Celtics take home the kill the day after tomorrow? As Jim points out it in his blog through his poll, almost 60% believed that Game 6 will be that of Boston and only 40% have shown confidence over Lakers. Well no matter how we see it, whether we base it on the stats or in the fiery spirits of LA Lakers, we will never know till we see the end of Game 6. I agree that Boston Celtics have the greatest advantage in winning, considering their play, their players and their stamina. But there is more to be seen in the Lakers. Still I never lose hope, after all, we can only predict, but it is always remains to be seen. Below are the highlights of Game 5.
