Jack and the Jelly Beans: The bluepanjeet version
By bluepanjeet on Jun 10, 2008 in *Ideas Meets Improvements

Once upon a time, there was a poor boy named Jack. Jack was sent by his mother to sell their cow to buy some food. His father died early in his age that is why her mother became the breadwinner of the family and raised jack on her own. Taking the cow in the market, he met an interesting little old man. The old man asked Jack if he could trade anything for the cow. Jack went silent, thinking deeply if the man was just pulling his leg or not. Eventually, the man knew what jack was thinking so he immediately pulled something out in his pocket and held them on the palm of his hands. ?Wow!? exclaimed the fascinated little boy as he stared on to the shining multi-colored jelly beans on the old man?s hand.
?I will trade this handful of jelly beans for your cow?
the man said. Jack hesitated
?I don?t know sire, it seems that your jellybeans are not worth trading for my cow?.
?Oh these are not ordinary Jelly beans, these delicious candy jelly beans are from OH NUTS.?
The man convincingly said.
?These Jelly beans comes in different colors, sizes, flavors and even textures. Once you have tasted it, you will experience the magic of its flavor. These jelly beans are also certified Koshers?.
?Wow really? Okay here is my cow. Let me have those Jelly beans?
Jack went home happy, contented and hopping in shear ecstasy. When he arrived, his mother asked him
?Jack how much did you get for our cow??
?Oh mother much more that you can think of?.
Grinning from ear to ear, the mother drooled for the money
?Let me see how much?.
Jack pulled the jellybeans from his pocket and handed them to his mother.
?Here mother, you can have them all. I already ate some?
shouted jack with a very innocent smile.
?Whattttt?? the mother exclaimed.
?Why you little mor??
…and a loud sound of two bitch slaps echoed throughout the village?
So that ends the story of Jack and the Jellybeans. The moral of the story? The Jellybeans must be really worth something compared to the cow for Jack to endure all her mother?s slaps. Jack endured even the pain of her mother?s wrath just to have those delicious Jellybeans. So what are you waiting for? Go and sell your cow now.
