Splitting Quezon province is an idea conceived only by imbeciles

303

I don’t know what our political morons are thinking, but splitting Quezon again? We are not pizza pie for crying out loud. The greed and selfishness to serve their own vested interests have tainted their brains with such horrible stupidity that splitting Quezon province again in to two will bring an extra power slot to a greedy, non-winning politiko who wants to rule the province. Truly, the strategy used was conquer and divide. The proponent of the said stupid law was a congressman from Quezon (san paba naman magmumula?) when the bill was proposed. According to some sources, the prominent representative wanted to rule Quezon so bad that he proposed the bill to cut the province in half. He can’t win over the incumbent governor, that’s why he struck the province at the middle. But due to his triumph last election, the former representative lost interest in the bill because he already got what he wanted. So he left the bill to rot and void into oblivion, lapsing without the President’s signature. Imagine if this power hungry politiko lost, he would probably insist splitting the province in half. Good thing he won… (???????)

This scenario is just an example how our law are being toyed for the purpose of the politicos’ vested interest. Imagine the thousand of pesos or perhaps even millions, spent just to pass that bill only to find out that it was wasted. Actually the very instance of its conception was actually a blasphemy and should have not even conceived in the first place..

Instead of making stupid laws, why not just connect infanta towns to capital Lucena City or Northern Tiaong or Lucban so that the rest of the people there would not feel isolated. To tell you honestly, the towns of Infanta, Real, Polilio etc in the northern part of Quezon are often neglected by the Provincial Government through the years because of their isolation from the province’s access roads. Maybe this time, our very intelligent Governor should at least make an effort in finding ways to connect Infanta roads to Quezon roads. It’s so absurd that we have to pass Laguna first before going to Infanta.

If the law, aka Republic Act No. 9495 or the Charter of Quezon Del Sur was enacted, there would have been a plebiscite last January 2008, and if favored, the province will be divided into Quezon del Norte (Burdeos, General Nakar, Infanta, Jamalig, Lucban, Mauban, Pagbilao, Panukulan, Patnanungan, Polillo, Real, Sampaloc, Tayabas, Candelaria, Dolores, San Antonio, Sariaya, Tiaong and Lucena City) and Quezon del Sur (Agdangan, Buenavista, Catanauan, General Luna, Macalelon, Mulanay, Padre Burgos, Pitogo, San Andres, San Francisco, San Narciso, Unisan, Alabat, Atimonan, Calauag, Guinayangan, Gumaca, Lopez, Perez, Plaridel, Quezon and Tagkawayan). Is Aurora and Baler provinces not enough to reduce the culture and geographic identity of Quezon?

The Philippines should pass a law on how to separate the imbecile law makers from the moron representatives. BTW, is there any difference?:
