Grand EB Costume Party

When Reyna Elena came home last October of 2007, the whole gang in the blogosphere had a grand eyeball at her Ortigas Mansion. The plan that Malen and I concocted via chat was that bloggers should wear costumes when attending the Grand EB because at the middle of the party they will all introduce themselves as the author of their particular blogs. One problem that we foresaw was where in the world bloggers would get their costume for the grand EB party. Until Pusa suggested that we take a look at the online Holloween costume store and see for ourselves the various costumes available for everyone. Malen was particularly eyeing for the Childrens Costumes because she told us that it would be perfect for Ambo
Holloween Adventure offers a wide selection of Children’s costumes, Adult Halloween Costumes and accessories that comes with it. Holloween adventures costumes are not only for the Halloween holidays because most of the parties that are thrown by business entities and private establishments are mostly costume parties wherein your own creativity will be your fashion statement. Halloween adventures presents their costumes via categories so that it would be easy for an online consumer to choose what kind of costume they need. Do they need Harry potter Costumes, Spider-man Costumes, Sexy Costumes, Holiday Costumes, Period Costumes? Because you can stop asking, they have it all. Plus they have models that shows you the exact design and appearance of each costume. They also offer wig costumes and accessories that will further enhance your disguise and character portrayal. So back to my story:
We ended up telling everyone to get their costumes at Halloween Adventures. And this is what they wore on the actual Grand EB:
Reyna Elena showed her darkside with this Witch Queen Costume
KotsengKuba portrayed his techie side with Buzz Lightyear Costume
Malen wanted to be a swedish elven princess so she wore this Arwen Costume from LOTR
Agnes aka Pusa wanted to flaunt her figure so she played as Supergir-lash
Ruthie however did not want to show her stretchmarks so she just wore this 1950’s wonder woman Costume
Crying for poetic justice, yours truly went to the EB as the embattled Julius Ceasar (or is it Nero?)
Chuva’s hunger for natural hair was manifested in his costume as CHUVAKA (Chewbacca)
And because Chuva does not want to buy her maid a new costume so he just let Diwa wore her daily uniform as his Maid.
And of course, would Ambo ever let anyone still the limelight? He played safe between Reynz and Malen’s desire for him when he wore this costume of Cupid. haha
